Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG OLED 65" C5 Upgrade from my 65" OLED C9. My 4th LG OLED going back to a much earlier curved screen and no regrets with my purchase of any one of them. With modern OLED TVs, the quality is so good the improvements become miniscule from yr to yr, but even so and as good as my 65" C9 is, this is noticeably better in picture clarity. Most noticeably on upscaling on normal TV viewing, but not limited to just test. Just an overall better picture. With the deals available now i would highly recommend this unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having previously bought an LG OLED in 2018 (which is still going strong but in another room) it made absolute sense to buy another LG OLED for Office Requirements. As always it was easy to set up (this time wall mounted) hosting a Mac Mini, PC, PS5 and XBOX. The picture quality is sublime. Just put on a Dolby Digital Demo File from Youtube to see how impressive the colours and more importantly the Blacks are. A little bit of colour calibration and HDR and SDR look incredibly impressive. When it comes to TVs, my first choice would be LG. This is now the third one in my house. Delighted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looking at a wall of TV's the best one was obvious [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my equivalent of 8 or more years with latest model, Dont think I would change brand as the way the LG works with the magic remote suits me great. Cant say the picture is any better as it is just as fantastic as the last. Really pleased- still got to get into some of the AI benefits if there is any. The last one we had was slightly curved and in our small room it did benefit a bit but no real loss. Set up and assemby was easy, Its suprizing how light it is. Well pleased with the new one and amazingly lower priced than the LG equivalent it replaced. To me there is no comparison to OLED.

Was worried that it wouldn't be bright enough due to it being the midrange model, but it's super bright. I've come from a 13 year old Sony FHD QD panel and I'm finally in the future. Colour pops and the contrast is amazing. My old TV also had terrible viewing angles, but with this being OLED, the image doesn't go dull when sat in the poor seats in the corner. Moving to 4K also makes a huge difference when sat close watching movies. Started watching old movies I love to see how much better they now look. Get one, you won't regret it.

I wished we had done it ssoner. The colour balance and sound difference is tremendous. Watching programmes is soooo different, especially the nature programmes. Its like your there, whether in the jungle or swimming along a coral reef, the colours are outstanding. Combine that with the Dolby Atmos sound, its like being in the cinema in your own lounge. Plus its a "smart" tv with all the bells and whistles you would expect. I am so glad we purchased this tv. Well worth spending that bit more than the "cheaper" tv's.

MultiView is NOT working on my new 42 C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. It will NOT take 2 HDMI sources, nor an HDMI source and a Live TV source. It will only take one HDMI (or Live TV) plus web browser or Camera. LG support say it should work?

What type of remote is your DirecTV remote? If it is both a universal and programmable remote, designed to control the receiver, TV, and audio devices, you may be able to use it instead of the LG Magic Remote, Model # MR25GA that comes with the LG 42-inch Class LG OLED evo AI C5 4K Smart TV 2025, Model # OLED42C5PUA, however, it will not give you the full functionality the LG Magic Remote does.
