LG OLED 65" C5
Upgrade from my 65" OLED C9. My 4th LG OLED going back to a much earlier curved screen and no regrets with my purchase of any one of them. With modern OLED TVs, the quality is so good the improvements become miniscule from yr to yr, but even so and as good as my 65" C9 is, this is noticeably better in picture clarity. Most noticeably on upscaling on normal TV viewing, but not limited to just test. Just an overall better picture. With the deals available now i would highly recommend this unit.

Third LG TV in use in my House .....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having previously bought an LG OLED in 2018 (which is still going strong but in another room) it made absolute sense to buy another LG OLED for Office Requirements. As always it was easy to set up (this time wall mounted) hosting a Mac Mini, PC, PS5 and XBOX. The picture quality is sublime. Just put on a Dolby Digital Demo File from Youtube to see how impressive the colours and more importantly the Blacks are. A little bit of colour calibration and HDR and SDR look incredibly impressive. When it comes to TVs, my first choice would be LG. This is now the third one in my house. Delighted.

Outstanding TV, the best I have seen on the market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have just purchased the OLED48C56LB tv to replace an old plasma tv and WOW! I wished we had done it ssoner. The colour balance and sound difference is tremendous. Watching programmes is soooo different, especially the nature programmes. Its like your there, whether in the jungle or swimming along a coral reef, the colours are outstanding. Combine that with the Dolby Atmos sound, its like being in the cinema in your own lounge. Plus its a "smart" tv with all the bells and whistles you would expect. I am so glad we purchased this tv. Well worth spending that bit more than the "cheaper" tv's.

The display was a tad murky at first and needed some tweaking with the picture settings to get it brighter. (Cinematic mode seems to work best.) We like the solid stand rather than spindly legs. The remote control needs some getting used to. We found it a bit finicky but other users may disagree. Compatibility between the tv and our Sky Q remote is not completely reliable. Sound from the internal speakers is ok, lacking in bass and certainly not cinematic but acceptable. It really cries out for a separate soundbar. Initial setup was reasonably easy.

how far off vertical center is the VESA mount on the LG OLED 65" C5 TV? I'm building a custom stand and need to figure out how the mount will relate to the center of the screen.

How can I control my Denon AVR-1906 AV receiver with the new LG remote control? I have tried the universal device set-up but only see Denon sound bar options listed and if I go through each test and try and enter the receiver model, it only shows AVR990 w

The Magic Remote’s Universal Control setup does not support the Denon AVR‑1906, which is why only Denon soundbars or newer receiver models—such as the AVR‑990—appear in the list. Since the TV relies on a fixed database of IR codes, older receivers like the AVR‑1906 cannot be added manually.

The exclusive LG OLED Synergy Bracket that comes with the SC9S LG Soundbar C for TV with Dolby Atmos® and Synergy Bracket 3.1.3 channel, is specifically designed for the LG OLED evo C Series TVs, and can be used as a TV stand or mounted with your LG 65-inch Class LG OLED evo AI C5 4K Smart TV 2025, Model # OLED65C5PUA, on the wall.
The easy install bracket attaches directly to the TV without additional damage to your wall.
It is designed to sit directly underneath compatible LG OLED C-series (C2, C3, C4, C5) TVs, and mount tightly, often placing the soundbar just millimeters below the bottom edge of the panel to hide the bracket itself.
The Synergy Bracket is specifically built to create a unified appearance, where the soundbar acts as a pedestal or close-fit wall-mount extension, minimizing the visible gap to almost nothing.
