Terrible sound quality
This is the fourth 65" tv we have brought over the years. First being a LG I am genuinely shocked at how distorted the sound is. It is the first ever time we have had to purchase a sound bar. We didn't factor this into our budget when buying the tv. You can barely make out the words being said on all tv and movies. It's incredibly muffled. Even when the tv is loud you can't hear clearly. We have had to watch with subtitles to make out conversations. The TV has an AI feature that is supposed to adapt the sound to your room. Our experience is that this results in even less quality sound. It's incredibly echoy and sounds like a tv you'd watch in a cheap hotel room.

Very Good TV, Dispite Marketing Missinformation.
The quality of TV picture is excellent once I tuned it to my specific preference. The out of the box settings did not give a good viewing experience and it took several days of fiddling to get what I liked. That being said, the adjustaments are available which is great. My main fault is with the martketing of the TV as being Mini-Led with Local Dimming, which implies a FALD backlighting system. However, in use it is obviously edge lit and the local dimming feature is horrible in my opinion, so I turned it off. I found that very disappointing.

Cinematic Experience at Home!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loving my new LG 86" QNED evo AI mini LED TV! The picture quality is insanely crisp, and the AI upscaling makes everything pop. Sound is punchy, and no soundbar is needed. Remote’s easy to use with air mouse like features, plenty of ports including HDMI & eARC. I had to buy the wall mount separately, but it came with a good quality stand. Sleek design seals the deal! Another perks are LG channel offers! Absolutely recommend this TV.

Beautiful, sharp, clear colours and sound 🌈📺❤️
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been such a wonderful upgrade to our living room. We love the outstanding performance. The enhanced sharpness and contrast delivers a premium experience. Now that I enjoy the mini LED, which gives beautiful clarity, I can't believe I was watching TV without deep blacks and bright highlights. The AI technology makes the frame transition smoother and I can really notice a difference. The minimalist design of the unit not only looks beautiful in my home, but keeps me immersed in the screen. My homepage is easy to navigate, especially with the AI magic remote, and I can customise shortcuts for what I like best. With a 7 star energy rating we sleep well knowing we aren't blowing our electricity budget. This is an excellent TV, we are so happy we made the switch to LG.

Fantastic high quality TV!

So convenient and easy to navigate/set up that even my 1 year old has no worries putting on his favourite shows! You’re able to set up and tailor to individual preferences which is great including sound and audio! Smart and luxury TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I impressed with the remote control. It is easier to type words and search just like I am moving a mouse on a desktop. I turned off the light to test the TV colour, and it’s perfect for me. The image quality is bright, colourful, and looks real. The sound speaker is really loud and clear. I only turn its volume around 5 or 6. TV looks luxury with the thin design as well.

Lg free channels are sure a bonus
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a big upgrade from my old tv which is now 10years old. I've gone for double the screen size with this new tv. Loving it. Especially now I can sit far away for the screen.
My favourite feature about this tv is lg has a bunch of channels that are free to watch. The free channels include kids programs which is great if you don't have heaps of streaming services.

Good TV, Scummy Marketing — Avoid it.
This TV was advertised to have MiniLED backlighting, promising 'Advanced Local Dimming'. This is false and is certainly not the case. This TV appears to be edge-lit, with only 6 horizontal dimming zones and ZERO vertical zones — definitely not advanced — meaning there are ONLY six vertical columns in the TV that turn on and off in dark parts of a scene — terrible compared to the hundreds and even thousands in other TVs of similar caliber. This means the TV provides black levels not nearly as good as advertised and definitely not as expected from a TV that throws the term 'MiniLED' at you.
It's a shame, because the TV is great, 4K@120Hz over HDMI 2.1, HDR, good AI upscaling, good OS, but isn't worth the premium over a standard LED with local dimming in my opinion.
You should NOT pay a premium for this TV over other LG models unless you want a high display refresh rate.
