Not your regular TV!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fact that when we are not watching TV, it actually compliments the living room as a piece of art, not a black square hole on the wall. I’m also getting better at recognizing the the masterpieces and the artist who painted them.
Another point, it’s great to display your photographs…I love PhotoShopping some our beach surf pictures into a piece of art to display on the screen.
And finally, it’s great for watching movies, sports, and playing games. An all around super television!

The Art in the office conference room

Everyday it surprises us with great Art with daily changes with the subscription to Art Store. If you have a space that will be perfect for Art and can be used for some tv. This is a great choice. I have 3 other friends using this and they are all impressed with its use case.

The art function was a big selling point, and am enjoying this feature and the art looks awesome on the matte screen. More features than I expected (Samsung TV Plus, for example) and navigation with the remote has been easy. Lots of on-screen assistance, for example to get bluetooth devices set up as well. Slightly too big for one person to move, but the 50" is a decent size for a small apartment (not on the massive-TV-in-a-small-space bandwagon yet!)

This limits what I have available to view . Samsung TV channels are limited and tend to feature less popular / less recent programming on some channels . It would be wonderful if Samsung would consider expanding programming . As well making a more diverse universal remote . The Samsung remote is in my opinion limited as there is not an option to punch in an actual channel number .

Love the way it looks

Only downfall that I find is we sometimes have issues connecting to the network (xfinity/comcast) It is always able to connect to the server but we find it sometimes has issues with the connection.

The frames that go around the tv cost as much as the tv itself….ridiculous. No picture frame is worth 600 plus dollars. The art work is subscription based, instead of being able buy one piece….the quality of the art actually looking like a picture/matte finish is not anything to rave about . Everyone who has come over knows it’s a tv displaying art…Extract max profits is what this tv is. Would not recommend. Buy a cheaper tv, display your own art on the tv, get crafty and build a frame for it.

The Samsung Frame TV looks really good on the wall. We hung it in our bedroom, so we did not want the TV to look like it is in a "media" room. It hangs like a picture of the wall. It beautifully displays artwork or a photo.
The downside is that it does not display photos in a slideshow very well. The photos are not full screen, and they are cumbersome to add. However, for displaying an individual photo as a piece of art on the wall, it is great . . . you can crop the photo if you want and can select how the picture crops/fits to the screen. The TV is just not great for slideshows.
Also, the TV works well with Alexa (except for turning the TV on- Alexa tells me that that action is not supported). Alexa will, however, turn off the TV and do searches, etc. I am happy with the Samsung Frame TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this Samsung TV, it’s so crystal clear and vibrant makes my other TVs seem drab in comparison. What is great about these TVs is how light they are and easy to mount, the base (PSU) can easily be hidden and all the wiring can be done to the base instead of running everything behind the TV and trying to hide the wiring. It’s a great design altogether and most definitely the future of TV designs, kudos to Samsung for always being on the cutting edge of design visually and aesthetically.

Exactly What We Wanted

In doing so, I was never able to have such a large television set. Now, I have a 75" TV and no one even knows it is there when it is off. I routinely get compliments on my "artwork" and have even had others who have seen it run out and buy one.

Great TV that doubles as artwork
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Frame TV is a cool mix of high-tech screen and fancy wall art. It looks just like a picture frame, so it blends right into your room and turns into an art gallery when you’re not watching TV. The QLED screen gives super clear 4K pictures with bright colors, deep blacks, and lots of brightness—great for movies, games, or shows.
I love the Art Mode; you can show tons of artwork or your own photos, and the matte screen cuts down on glare so it looks like real canvas. It’s thin, has snap-on frames, and a hidden cable for a clean setup.
The smart stuff runs on Tizen—easy to use, lots of apps, works with Bixby, Alexa, or Google. Sound is okay, but add a soundbar for better audio.
Bottom line: the Frame TV is awesome for anyone who wants a stylish TV that looks good even when it’s off. Worth the money if you care about looks and quality.

Fantastic Picture, Disappears in Room, Slim

Moreover, the artwork available is stellar and wide-ranging. Almost perfect but lack of open integration hurts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's no doubt the 65" The Frame TV is an amazing TV for the price, especially if you can snag it on a good sale like I did. Mounted to the wall this is everything the marketing promises - a TV that doubles as a beautiful painting of your choice. We have this in our living room with a lot of open windows and it handles the glare splendidly and throwing up Dune gave a great cinematic experience. I can't comment on the TV speakers as I ran the via optical to some quality powered book shelf speakers which sound great.
The one box is a stroke of genius as you can get a beautiful clean mounting on the wall with all the connections hidden in the cabinet below
Samsung offer a great choice of paintings for a price per painting or an admittable reasonable subscription fee, and this is where things get a bit shady. It's the classic Samsung experience of having excellent hardware that forces you to use very mediocre software. If you have ever owned a Samsung phone you are probably very familiar with the company constantly trying to force their own and usually average at best apps down your throat and making it very difficult to use anything else. It reminds me a bit of a hotel that charges for WIFI where phone reception is bad - it comes across as a bit desperate and lacks class. Unfortunately The Frame carries on this Samsung legacy. Excellent hardware and while the art app is reasonably it is very expensive and does not allow any integration with any other sources.
Samsung argue that they are supporting artists but I'm pretty sure Monet and Picasso aren't seeing a dime from this and what about users who want to display their own content through other platforms? Want to use google photos as a slide show? Not possible. Yes it will allow you to load some personal photos onto the TV but it heavily dissuades you from wanting to this too often with a very cumbersome process to do so.
Even if open integration was too much for Samsung to take on, a perfectly reasonable solution would be if the TV allowed you to press a button to put the screen into low power art mode with whatever you had up on the screen without being restricted to The Frame's Art App for content - that would have made this TV perfect! You could then use something like Google Chromecast TV background services, art and photos as your background. Don't get me wrong you could still achieve this with the TV on, it's just not possible in the low power art mode.
In the end yes I recommend this TV - it's excellent value for the design and performance even if it is frustratingly close to perfection, only let down by a closed ecosystem.

Connectivity to my Fios WiFi failed - had to set up separate router to use Q symphony wirelessly (sound bar and music frame). TV sometimes “forgets” that Fios mini is connected. Have to power cycle Fios - hard to do when all boxes are packed away behind tv inside wall box

The one connect box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally bought these TVs as they had the one connect box. I preferred this as it made installation much easier and also made it easy to connect or disconnect devices as required. I was very happy with these items. So much in fact that when they were damaged in a recent storm and electrical surge I decided to have them replaced with the same (but obviously updated) TVs and sound bars. No holes in the wall and simple installation and connections. Also, the art show is a neat feature.

Amazing picture quality, sub par software

It just ends up being so slow. Then the art function stopped working and after reaching out to support they were unable to help. So now we just use the TV as a regular TV but as an art TV it's become useless

Great picture and sound!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE bought the TV for the primary purpose of being an art piece as well as a TV. We loved the idea of being able to have various artwork displayed rather than a blank TV screen when the device was not being used. The variety of art available was surprising, we've selected some favorites to rotate through.
The picture is amazing! Great detail and in the daytime, you can't tell it's a TV. The picture quality extends to viewing it as a TV and we're happy with that and the amazing sound quality. We had toyed with getting the soundbar for it but it wasn't needed.
It's a bit more complicated to use, and likely just the learning curve with all the options and configurations. We use specific streaming services and getting those installed in the home screen has been difficult. We often just use search and select them from there.
Overall, we're quite pleased!

Almost Perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung The Frame 55" TV is a fantastic blend of technology and art. When mounted on the wall, it truly looks like a framed picture, adding elegance and style to any space. The QLED panel delivers vibrant colors and sharp clarity, making everything from movies to casual browsing look amazing. The no-gap wall mount and One Connect box also help create a clean, minimalist look that really sets it apart from traditional TVs.
Art Mode is one of the best features, but also the most frustrating. While the display beautifully mimics real artwork, navigating the Art Menu to access and manage personal photos is clunky and unintuitive. Uploading new images feels overly complicated, and high-resolution photo handling could be better. It’s a missed opportunity in what is otherwise a brilliant feature.
Another small downside is nighttime brightness — even on the lowest settings, the screen can still feel too bright in a dark room, slightly breaking the illusion of a natural painting. Despite these minor flaws, I highly recommend The Frame for anyone wanting a TV that seamlessly blends into their home decor. If Samsung refines the Art Mode experience and adds better dimming options, it would easily be a perfect product.

Not suitable as wall mounted tv
We purchased this as a wall mounted tv but unfortunately had to return it - none of the marketing photos show that this tv must be connected to a large black box to make it operational (I assume because the tv is so thin, all the computing power is in the separate box). This makes it unsuitable as a wall mounted option as you have to have a silver cord running down your wall.

do not understand
Difficult to navigate to current live news programs. Constant promoting signing up for cable is annoying. You Tube prior broadcasts can be accessed but not through You Tube TV. Remote control is substantially deficient from a Sony remote. Sony picture and sound quality are great. Samsung picture is ok and sound quality is not. None of the foregoing is due to other equipment or installation. Deficiencies of Samsung 85" compared to Sony 85". Having experienced both, in future I would go back to Sony only.

Love it but could improve.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 3 weeks ago and it’s brilliant, I love the art mode and the matte screen which 100% stops reflections.
It took me a while to figure out the control and how to get up the tv guide (nothing a Google didn’t fix).
It also works “clunky” with Optus sport, not sure if it’s the Optus app of the TV…. The app works fine with other things and keeps buffering/ pausing on the Tele (network isn’t the issue).
The sound is a little annoying, it increases during watching something at odd moments and has to be turned down and then back up after the Tele stops shouting at us…. Probably a setting but I haven’t managed to figure that out yet and I have tried so not overly user friendly for someone like me.

Room decor; especially like painting vs black hole
Excellent product. I would buy again and again. Picture not quite as good as current top tier Samsung TVs, but very good… particularly in my application. I didn’t want a room dominated by a big black screen. Samsung does need to do a better job in explaining how it works. Getting everything to work as advertised takes a bit of trial and error and searching the internet.
