Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product easy install start to finish. I bought this rangehood 11 months ago during my major renovation. I installed it myself which was quite easy with well explained instructions. Due to my house configuration the only way I could install the ducting was vertically through my ceiling space and travelled 6mtrs in length. To be honest I was very worried that at that distance the rangehood motor won't be powerful enough to vent the air outside. But it does it with easy no more cooking smell travelling through the house. The internal rangehood is very quite as the motor is installed externally. Overall I'm very very satisfied with this product and cannot fault it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rangehood doesn't detract from our ambience As someone who is still learning to cook, I need two things in my kitchen: ambience and a powerful rangehood. We purchased the Schweigen 900mm undermount rangehood for our new custom home build and are loving how silent it is which means I can listen to music, watch the TV or better yet, be in complete silence while cooking, and not be distracted by the loud and overwhelming noises of other rangehoods. Previously when I cooked, I would set off the smoke alarms (yes, I’m that good). Now, thanks to the powerful suction of the rangehood, our neighbours don’t come running over thinking that our house is burning down. Plus whoever designed the filters to be dishwasher safe needs a promotion!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome range hood! Have had our silent undermount range hood for 2 years now. Highly efficient and can highly recommend for those who love cooking with spices. Extremely strong motor suction makes the cooking process a breeze as all vapours escape the kitchen area. I could not be happier with the product, and I must say, I love entertaining with this quiet range hood, I can actually talk and cook at the same time without having to yell hehe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow. It is amazing. This Schweigen Rangehood has exceeded my high expectations, not only in effectiveness and appearance but it is virtually silent. I initially thought it hadn’t been connected!! We got the mid-size motor (roof top) and it sucks up steam and smell no worries. Pan frying or boiling, no worries. And virtually silent. Previous home had a dual motor qasair and this is better. The timer and lights are great too.

We love it - it's silent and works wonders - in fact it's so silent sometimes I forget and leave it on. We have recommended it a number of people. However, we recently had an issue. I was so nervous that I would end up in a consumer battle. I am absolutely delighted that the team dealt with the issue efficiently and promptly. Love Schweigen even more now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A quiet well made range hood I was looking for a quality range hood that had a better airflow without the noise that comes from higher fan speeds. Schweigen has the benefit of the externally mounted fan, but having larger diameter ducting, a bigger surface area and getting the basic design right has made all the difference. I would hose your new unit in a cabinet as the traditional hoods attract dust. Check my photo

I have replaced that unit with Schweigen and it is worth every cent! My home is open plan, i can now have a conversation while i cook, the house does not need to opened up in all weather to extract smells and cooking... the Schweigen does everything ive asked of it and more! 10/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very powerful rangehood It gives a unified seamless look as it is mounted underneath the cabinet. Yet it is so powerful that I only need to use the lowest speed setting, not to mention that the distance between my cooktop and rangehood is 800mm: 200mm more than standard. External motor contributes to a relatively quiet operation - much quieter then my old conventional rangehood.
