Rated 2 out of 5 by from Despair We've owned this dryer for about a year now and I feel comfortable to say that I genuinely, truly, hate my dryer. I dont find any of the setting options to be useful, or to ne honest, really that functional. Often times I find myself having to repeat cycles to ensure my items actually dry. Its rare that one cycle will fully dry my clothes. I dont find that the specific settins really make a difference for what they're meant to be used for. For example, the delicate setting somehow appears hotter than any other setting. Finally, the beeping. It taunts me. When a cycle finishes the machine doesn't simply just end. There is a anti-crease setting that periodically spins the drum then beeps to announce the machine is finished. It torments me at night and I cannot for the life of me find how to disable it. Energy efficiency seems in line with other dryers. Bosch has managed to incorporate despair into the design of the dryer however. I give it two stars. If there was room in my laundry I would go for a Beko.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this heat pump drier for our short term rental property on the Sunshine Coast in Qld. In the Sunshine Coast climate the drier gets heavy use in challenging humidity conditions. After just over 12 months of heavier use than would be expected in a normal household setting (we have very high occupancy and guest turnover rates) this drier is working perfectly and delivering high quality drying outcomes. Not one complaint from guests and when we stay in the place we continue to be pleased with the condition and performance of the drier. This is the fifth Bosch product I have purchased over the last 15 years and I am still delighted with the quality of the product and the outcomes we achieve. I cannot recommend Bosch highly enough to anyone looking to buy household white goods.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good dryer. We've had it for a few weeks now, its great and does a good job. Only down side is the start button, it seems to not be overly sensitive to touch and sometimes I'm standing there pressing it 4 or 5 times before it actually senses my finger and starts.

Is this dryer able to be fitted with an upside down kit. We are Mounting the dryer on a purpose made shelf above our Bosch front loader washing machine which sits on a 400 mm pull out shelf plinth assembly, cheers

Hi Stuart, due to the way Heat Pump Condenser Dryers are made and their weight, they can not be turned upside down. It is best to also check the weight capacity of the shelf as the dryer weighs 46.2 kg. We trust this helps with your query

Does this dryer have reverse tumbling action to avoid sheets being tumble dried into a ball that does not dry in the middle ?

Great question Suzy, though it doesn't have a reverse tumble feature, the automatic programmes use humidity sensors to measure the residual moisture in the laundry during the drying cycle. The programme only ends once the set dryness level is reached. Trust this helps!

Where does the water go ? I.e. is it vented out the doors or is it collected in a tank?
