Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every cent I wanted an affordable dryer that produced no condensation because my teen is asthmatic so needed to eliminate any dampness. After 2 years of trying to find a cheaper option and hanging damp clothes around the home to dry for days, I finally had enough. Although expensive it is the best investment I ever made because I have 4 teen boys who work in construction and sweat and shower twice daily. I have 3 x 7kg loads of laundry daily and the dryer is so simple to use, leaves no condensations and just sorts my laundry worries away. No more hanging damp laundry inside the house to dry for days during cold and wintery days. My life is bliss.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Long term reliability?? Our machine is now two years old. Bearing failed, and the fan belt also needed replacement. Machine is used regularly in a family of five. Initial repairs done under warranty, now the machine is making a strange sound and is not drying at all. I would anticipate a minimum of 4-5 years for a machine of this type. I understand the machines are complex and work well when working. I intend to switch brands next time. Fisher and Paykel are a local company (NZ) but your products need to be built to last a little longer than 2 years.

With a busy family it's been getting a solid workout and it has risen to the challenge. It dries clothes beautifully without over-drying and leaving them 'crispy' like our old condenser dryer, and the fact it does all this without creating condensation in the laundry is fantastic. It's quiet operation and variety of cycles is fantastic, for the first time ever my sheets are actually dry after the sheets cycle, unlike our old dryer where I had to keep putting them back on.

First off, it dries clothes like a dream without turning them into crispy, shrunken relics of their former selves. Everything comes out warm, fluffy, and still wearable — imagine that! And the Wi-Fi feature? Chef’s kiss. Nothing like getting a ping on your phone saying, “Your laundry is dry,” while you’re still mentally preparing to go get it… two hours later. It’s basically a personal assistant that doesn’t need coffee breaks. But the real MVP move? Setting it up to drain the water tank automatically. Game. Changer. No more awkward tank-emptying dance. Just dry clothes and smug satisfaction. If dryers could get promoted, this one would already be CEO.

No more hanging clothes in the family room under the ceiling fan overnight on busy days or on rainy days. Much less clothes pile up as the dryer is so energy efficient. The dryer caters for many different types of fabric including delicate clothes. The time and energy saved can be channeled to other important things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good upgrade from my old F&P condenser dryer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an upgrade from my previous F&P condenser dryer. One thing missing from my old dryer, that I absolutely love in my new heat pump dryer is the Freshen Cycle. It is perfect for taking that last bit of cold dampish/night air feel from the washing that has been drying outside, particularly in winter. Another feature I love is the Wrinkle Free option.

It dries our clothes really well, offers a ton of different modes and is easy to maintain. Most importantly, all the moisture being drawn from the clothes goes straight into the water tank which is easily emptied and not out and into the laundry. Simply a game changer!
