Shockingly bad
I bought one of these 2 months ago, the sensor dry function didn't work. Panasonic replaced no problems. Same problem with the second unity and now this one squeaks every time the drum turns anticlockwise. The minimum time setting, aside from sensory, is 60 min. Which is a long time if you just want to toast a few items without having to set a kitchen timer. Getting my money back now and returning to Electrolux. I've had other Panasonic appliances which have been fine, this seems to maybe be a dud model. Good points - large capacity and very cheap.

Possibly the worst dryer ever invented!
I have had this dryer for a few months and it has failed to deliver on every promise. The sensor dryer does not work so clothes get fried to a crisp. Big items such as sheets tie themselves up into such a tight knot that you have to stand by the dryer and re-position the load every 5 minutes. Useless and so annoyed that I let myself be talked into buying it! I hope Panasonic read these reviews.

Terrible dryer
After only 1 week of using this dryer it started squeaking, and got louder the more it was in use. Had to be repaired 2 times before I asked for a replacement. The replacement is doing the same thing and has been repaired 2 times already and im hoping I can get my money back because it’s still faulty and Panasonic just want to keep repairing it. Stay away from buying this dryer!

Terrible Dryer - DO NOT BUY
I purchased this dryer 9 months ago and have had issues with it from the start. At first we thought it was just the location of the dryer so we moved it but it has got increasingly worse overtime. The dryer squeaks every time the drum turns which is annoying but the worst part is that it takes 6 - 8 hours to dry a less than 8kg load of laundry! It wasn't such a big deal when we purchased the dryer as the weather was warmer but now that it is winter it is driving me insane!!! We contacted Harvey Norman who were very helpful and sent a technician out to us to check out the dryer as I have never heard of a dryer taking up to 8 hours to dry a load of a weeks worth of 2 peoples underwear before. The technician came and told us that it is completely normal for this dryer to take up to 8 hours to dry a load of laundry that is under the weight limit because it isn't a powerful dryer. Don't waste your money, stay away from this dryer!!

Dies after 3 weeks
Purchased a month ago it started playing up yesterday. Today the machine started on its own. Then hours later while in use machine wouldn’t turn off, all lights would go out but machine still going. Unplugged the machine and it was still humming for 2 minutes. Now it is cooked and just flashing. Good $ spent

Poor filter design and sensor function
Bought this 8 weeks ago. Auto sensor did not seem to work as it should, kept on drying and not stopping, clothes came out dried to a crisp. Filter at the back of the drum is very difficult to access and even more difficult to clean. Harvey Norman was excellent and replaced and we have gone back to a Fisher and Paykel model

Poorly designed
Don't understand why panasonic placed the airflow outlet at the back of the dryer? The concentration against the wall is just too much, why didn't they placed the outlet at the front so all air can go out away from the wall? And then how ridiculous to place the lint filter inside at the back were it is so hard to get out ? Just nuts
