Lots to love[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many things to love about this machine. I was really nervous about buying it as it was my first front loader - but I love it. The standard wash cycle is really quick - under an hour, it's so good to not have to top up the detergent every wash. It has great wash cycle choices - great options for ironing and stinky sneakers. Also my clothes are so much cleaner than my old machine. I have it stacked with the heat pump drier on top and couldn't be happier with the purchase. It's not to noisy either - but the fastest spin cycle does shake the floor a bit!

1. It shakes the whole house when on the final spin. We have wooden floors and despite trying different shock absorbers it still shakes the house.
2. The towels dry like cardboard and feel like stiff charf.
My Fisher and Paykel top loading machine did not shake the house and towels were soft and fluffy.

Hate itI got the larger washer to reduce loads and it continues to not spin if there are 2 small blankets or larger loads! This happens regularly! I would be happy to have my old machine back

Nice looking machineSwapped from a top loader. It is quite a lot noisier oddly (though it is on a tiled ply floor) and has 2 or 3 noisy periods not just the spin cycle. My other gripe is everything comes out very rough unless using delicate cycle. Have had to use fabric softener to combat this with some success.
Things I do like about it - capacity, large door opening, drum clean and auto-dosing. Cycles are longer than top loader but have gotten used to it now.

The perfect family machineWe upgraded from 7.5kg German brand to 10kg F&P and love the amount of clothes you can effectively wash. Quiet, efficient, and with a heap of settings. Love the auto-dose function and thus far has not had any load fall out of balance. Slightly odd that the machine spends about a minute "gearing up" to start a wash, but that's an extremely minor idiosyncrasy. Clothes come out quite dry, which reduces the amount of time they'll spend on the line.

Would have like the words for the cycles to be highlighted as well as symbols as my machine is in a dark area.

Definitely a recommendationNeeded to replace our old machine after 15 years so decided on the F&P after reading the reviews. It is a great machine, easy to setup and use and has all the functions we need. Clean and spin the clothes properly and without any damage or excessive wrinkling. Love the wi-fi link that allows the machine to tell me when it is finished.

Going wellGoing well. Meets expectations. Long term F&P customer. Needs a better spin dry on fastest speed cycle so towels etc come out drier and don't dry hard on the line. Would like to be able to use a pre-soaking powder as well as detergent without fear of damaging machine.
