Great washing machine BUT…[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine to replace my F&P top loader. Over all the new machine is awesome, I particularly love the auto dosing for detergent. I chose to spend the extra money on this machine because of the additional wash cycles available through the app……..BUT after owning the machine for 6 months the app still doesn’t have the washing machine on it so I can’t connect it and can’t access the additional wash cycles. So although I really like the machine, I feel as if I’ve paid for a large and received a medium.

UpsizedBought this about 6 weeks ago and love the bigger size. Being on tank water, I can now fit all my husband's work clothes in one load saving on water. Bedcovers also fit in with ease and I can still do on a gentle wash. Being able to choose between manual and auto dose is great as well as being able to adjust the auto dose. I am still learning things on it, but so far so good. Updated from an 8.5kg to the 11kg. the bigger door opening makes it easier to get laundry in and out.

SatisfiedIn general I am very happy with the machine. The quality of washing is excellent. A shorter wash cycle is great. Auto detergent of my choice dispenser excellent. Only problem is I got a message saying tap isn’t turned on so I water when it was. It seems to have settled now. I followed instructions regarding this and restarted the machine. For the price I think it is a great option. I love the simple controls and options. It is a very nice sleek looking machine.

11kg front loaderAfter purchasing another brand washing machine less than 2 years prior, I was sick of how poorly it washed leaving soap and fluff on clothes everytime. I compalined to the manufacturer only to be told try this and try that which I explained was already done!!
How happy am I with the difference this washer, which was actually $100 cheaper, compared to the previous washer. No soap. no fluff, great results everytime!

Big, Quiet & Full of featuresI bought this particular model mainly for the washing capacity. The additional features are a bonus even though I'll mostly use it for standard washing. The machine is quiet and the panel is easy to understand. The only thing I dislike is the location of the manual detergent dispensing tray. It's small and you can easy spill over. Other than that, it's an awesome replacement to my old trusted Bosch machine.

Highly recommendClothes come out very clean and almost dry every time! Unlike my old front loader. Was not sure about going with another front loader as I did not like my old one, but so glad I change my mind and went with this one. Large bowl and large front opening to get even doonas in, add clothes function and an amazing spin cycle. Can’t go wrong with Fisher & Paykel!

The best washing machine I’ve ever owned. It’s quieter than my previous front loader and it holds so much that I don’t need to do multiple loads. Everything about it is fantastic. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

F & P Front Loader 10kg[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits a whole Quilt, blanket or comforter! Now I don’t need to go to a laundromat. Love the auto laundry dispenser feature. Plenty of washing cycle settings. Detects how heavy your wash load is, very efficient, highly recommend. Washing is a necessary evil so you may as we’ll get 1 of these.

how long is the quick wash function

Great question Alice. The default setting for quick wash is Quick-30, and can take up to 6kg. Wash temperatures can be adjusted between cold and up to 40°C for this mode. You can also use Quick-15 for small loads of 2kg or less. To select this, turn the dial to QUICK and select SPEED mode under 'optimise wash'. Trust this helps!

Thanks for your question. Yes, this machine has 5 temperature control settings with temps ranging from Cold up to 90° depending on the wash cycle. Further information on these are supplied in the user manual. Hope this helps!
