Rated 5 out of 5 by from Home life after motorhoming [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Minor house renovations were required after we returned to home living, having spent 8 years travelling our beautiful country in a motorhome. Unpacking our home contents after being in storage over the 8 year period, required that all linen, bedding and personal clothing required washing. Until my new machine was installed, I had to use the local laundromat. Once the front loader was fitted, it was practically daily washing for at least three weeks. I was very impressed with the instructions and design of dials and switches. Renovations of laundry are still in progress so no photos at this early stage.

You're dragged kicking and screaming down the aisle but in hindsight it was an excellent decision. I was really careful in my choice. I asked a lot of questions of not only salesman but also the serviceman that condemned our previous machine. So far their recommendations have proved to be good. About the washing machine that is...just to be clear. The machine has proved water efficient, effective and quiet. We, thats my wife and i, not the servicemen or the salesman, are very happy and the machine is great too.

What an upgrade this one is! I love the black tinted door, it looks so much better than the old silver one. It is insanely quiet (as quiet as a washing machine can be, it obviously still makes a bit of noise), compared to the old model, it is whisper quiet. I do like the additional features, like the 'add a garment' feature, and the wifi aspect. It was very easy to connect to my network, and the app is very easy to use. I purchase F&P products because they are outstanding. Very happy!

I think the front loader is easier on the clothes and I am loving the amount of options the machine gives me, I was unsure about changing from a top loader to the front loader but think I am now convinced it was the right move

This machine doesn’t disappoint in anyway. It is more than adequate in size for the bigger loads of bedding and towels and does an excellent wash. With its own internal heater it is power efficient and the steam care function is great for freshening up the items that don’t need washing. Highly recommend these machines, they are extremely quiet runners and I really can’t fault them.

I've particularly appreciated the various cycle options and settings, which make it easy to customize my wash to suit different types of fabrics and stains. The larger capacity is also a bonus, allowing me to wash bulky items like comforters and towels with ease. The best part? It's energy-efficient and uses less water than my old machine, which has saved me money on my utility bills. Overall, I highly recommend this washing machine

It is my second fisher & Paykel front loader the first one I hard for about 14 or 15 years.(the bearings needed replacing that was the reason for getting the new machine.) But looks wise it still looked as good as the day I brought it same model as the new one. The new washing machine does more than the old one. only one thing I could complain about only miner but the draw is not as smooth to push in.

Used to have a F & P top loader, which I loved, but then needed repairs and more repairs (it was 13 years old and I prob didn't look after it as I should have) and I wanted bench space in laundry. Only thing I don't know/like about it, is that I'm unsure if I'm doing a half load, that the water level is correct or efficient. I trust it is, and haven't made the time to look into it, but other than that it is brilliant. Clothes are clean, cycle is quiet, wool cycle is FABULOUS (main reason I bought this particular front loader). Doesn't spin water out as well as my top loader did, but I think that is more me not paying attention to spin speed when setting it to work, than the machine itself. Love it, should have bought sooner.

Have just purchased this model, however the door is left hand hung, whilst the dryer DH8060P3 is rh hung. They are to be stacked on top of each other and I have also purchased the stacker kit. Can the washing machine door be changed to rh hung? Thanks.
