Expected Much More
Well I must say didnt expect to be do difficult to use, and not straight forward for use.
Thought woud be more simple and in order, starting from left to right but this has buttons all over the place.
Google symbols and instructions for all.
Hingled on the right side, and different to the dryier, was sure got this correct but must not have.
If you buy one of these you will either use auto that doenst wash too well, as doesnt use enough water to flush away the dirt.
Make sure you have youtube to help, three people I have asked say they use auto as all too confusing to use.
Most cant get the TWINDOS out when empty either.

Great at washing but can be fiddly to program
The machine is sturdy and super quiet. The dosing system saves constantly topping up the drawer and is easy to use as it defaults to colours or you can choose whites. The access to programs is a little laborious as the regularly used things like choosing the quick wash option for cottons as you have to cycle up and down through the menus. I've also noticed that some quick wash options leaves clothes still quite wet even when choosing 1600 spin speed. Cleaning performance is great, however the program time lengths for many of them is super long.

Very Disappointed
Bought this machine some months ago...my advice before purchasing is to download the operating instructions...why?...because the 9kg capacity is only an option on limited cycles...the 1600rpm spin again very limited. It is not the simplest machine to use but with time you adapt...read the operating instruction before purchase ...do not make assumptions or you could be very disappointed. The quality of this machine does not come close to my 15 year old Miele machine I replaced. A regretful purchase I am sorry to say.

BEST WASHER
This is my third Miele washing machine and the most complicated ! Seriously good washing machines and after using the manual as a guide through, all is going well. Haven't used the App. yet but will get around to that soon. I was sceptical of the Auto dosing at first, but now love it, one less thing in the cupboard and easy as to install.

WWI 860 9kg front loader
This is my first front load washing machine and it has lived up to or exceeded my expectations in the first couple months. The machine cleans clothes so much better than my old top load machine, even on the express cycle which is a very handy sub 50 minutes. The full cycle is fantastic although a little long at 2:39hours. The Miele brand detergents used in the twindos system is pretty amazing. I did not love the fragrance initially but have overcome this by adding my preferred fabric softener in the manual dosing tray. Works a treat. My only (minor) complaint would be that she vibrates rather aggressively, even on our tiled floor. The feet are all adjusted correctly, she’s just a big heavy duty gal. I’m going to go look for some washing machine dampeners and hope that will cut down a lot of the resonance. Overall would certainly recommend the machine, and Miele have been good to deal with.

Covid Washing machine comes out tops
Very happy with all the features. We were a bit nervous after reading all the reviews. However the washing machine is very easy to use, very quiet and time delay works fine. The cycles are long but the laundry comes out very clean and well spun so just need to plan a bit. The 9kg allows that extra bit of washing to be done so only reduces the number of washes needed in the week. Covid lockdown meant no installation but found easy to do so long as reasonably practical.

Missing one important feature and random errors
I used to have another miele washing machine but changed it as it was almost 8 years old and was starting to leak.
This new one unfortunately has NO drum lights.What a big disappointment
On top of that, even though I checked that it's level with surface, and the drainage tube is not kinked, I've had three different error messages since few months ownership, all resolved with just restarting the machine at the power source. This didn't happen with my old machine.
To add salt to the wound, the delivery didn't include any unpackaging or installing at all. The machine was left wrapped up sitting on wooden slats. I'm expected to be able to lift up the not so light weight machine on my own and remove the slats. Again very disappointing.

Whisper quiet
We have had the WWI 860 for a few months now. The first thing I noticed was how quiet it is, i can hear the clothes tumbling inside and the water entering thats about it.
Suberb cleanliness of washing and almost dry for most items ready for hanging out at the end of cycles.
The Mrs loves the dual water inlets and the detergent automatic dosing.
