Too rough
This machine washes well if you're a tradie or you have a family of children who like to roll in the dirt. For someone with more refined clothes that they'd like to last more than a few washes it is way too rough. It has shrunk our clothes and faded them. Items come out very crinkled. The spin to fantastic but not for dress clothes. Even though it has numerous cycles including delicate the machine is heavy duty. I changed everything to a delicate cycle but it's still not gentle. I know so many people are into active wear and hoodies these days so maybe that's what it's for. If you're tradie or using it for industrial washing go for it! We have to dispose of it and buy a new machine.

New home, new washing machine
We recently moved house and unfortunately our washing machine was damaged. The removalist did the right thing and assisted with cost to replace it. My wife hopped on line and found this machine. I was not fully on board with either the brand or the top loading design , but happy wife happy life. We bought it and have not looked back. It washes thoroughly and has a very intuitive menu selection for what you need done. It washes in one load what would have been 2 or 3 in our previous front loader. Yes it is a larger machine so to be expected , but still a bit of a win for me. It also looks good in the laundry. Very happy customers here.

Does the Job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washing machine based on good reviews, but I ran into a few issues just one week after purchase. It began stopping mid-cycle, and the lights on the control panel and digital display would flash erratically before the machine shut off. Switching power outlets and turning it off and on didn’t resolve the issue. I eventually had to get the motherboard replaced, which fixed the problem.
Another point to be mindful of: even when using the delicate setting, some of my clothes still ended up torn or damaged. The machine gets the job done overall, but the experience could definitely be improved.

I Hate This Washing Machine
I purchased this machine about 1 year ago. I hate it!! The worst machine I have ever used. I had a old simpson which was a reliable and hard working machine but this new machine just does not come anywhere near the old machine. Some designer has decided that preprograming the machine to give a variety of set programmes was a good idea...NO, NO, NO!!! This is not what a good hard- working machine should do. The machine does not allow you to choose how long you want the wash to last and don't get me started on the off balance!! i
have spent soooo many hours going back to the machine and rearranging the load. I've talked to the technician....he said there was nothing he could do, the machine works fine. All I can do now to warn other people.......DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE.

Westinghouse Washing machine. 8kg Top loader.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought it in July 2024. We trust in Electrolux products that's why we bought it. It has great features. Very spacious compared to front loader especially for bedding, blankets etc. No need to bend, that's what I want.
Only thing I am struggling compared to previous front loader is use liquid detergents and fabric softener. It has to be diluted otherwise the detergents residue will be on the clothes. Whereas for the previous one, just put the liquid detergents in the provided compartments and forget about it. It's not easy for old and sick people as well as for children. Hope they could update it. Eventhough it is a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new washing machine. Wanted to go back to an agitator one. My last one tangled the clothes up too much. Found it difficult to untangle, being in my mid seventies. I recently bought a Westinghouse dryer and love that,so I thought why not a washing machine. Love that you can have 4 different temperatures, especially for the winter when the cold water is too cold. The normal temperature is just right. Hope this one outlasts me. I don't want to wash too often,and I also like a machine big enough to wash my quilts and blankets.

It's Ok I Guess
Bought this washing machine 2 days ago as my Fisher & Paykel died sadly. Was told this it the only top loader on the market with an agitator (only reason I bought it).
Annoyed that I can't change the water level with any of the settings - has to be on Eco which takes over an hour for the wash cycle. I'm used to being able to select auto for any programme - so that is really annoying.
Also it is very noisy and has a high pitch whistle when it runs - have to close the door to the laundry otherwise it will drive me nuts.
I know it's early days but I'm not that impressed as yet.
