Ice water,Crushed Ice, Ice cubes, Great Storage!We purchased this fabulous fridge a month ago, it has so many features to many to list here. Standouts for us would be the many adjustable shelves, fridge quietness wine and drink chiller draw (we entertain a bit) and the good sized freezer draw at the bottom. All 3 areas can be separately programmed for temperature control. Every storage place has bright LED lighting, no more dark corners.
As this unit is plumbed, there's no more filling ice trays and placing jugs of water in the fridge taking up food storage space.
In summary very nice looking fridge, well finished quality wise with a lot of practical features; and if you're a techno buff you can even connect it to your phone via an app.
Best thing is to check the fridge out yourself - very worthwhile.

Pain To deal withWe purchased this item 3 months ago and had noises. Contacted the retailer and then received a call from appliance repair company saying they had to replace most of the parts as there is some issues with similar products. Repair person came did what they had to do and a week later we heard more weird noises ( not normal) (loud vibration noise. I called retail outlet to say I don’t want this repaired again as it is 2 months old and it should not be getting repaired to start with I just want a replacement fridge and it is getting very frustrating that I have bought a brand new fridge and can’t even get it replaced.

Good fridge - cheap internal fittingsWe have owned this for 2 months - it works well but unfortunately the interior fittings let it down.
Refrigeration and freezing work well.
Water is fairly slow and not that cold. Ice function works well.
One big issue is the bad drawer design. One broke after a month, today the other broke in exactly the same spot - a weak point on the top corner. The drawers have a front that is clipped on (not a solid moulded drawer). There is obviously a stress point where this tiny piece joins and when pulled on it gets weak. I managed to glue the first one, thinking we must have pulled the drawer out incorrectly (if that is even possible!), but now the other has broken in exactly the same spot.
We had our previous (competitor) fridge for 12/13 years with no problems so this obviously disappointing. We also own an Electrolux freezer (4/5 yrs old) which has very solid drawers and are we very happy with it.

Constant noiseI cannot begin to tell you how noisy this fridge is. It never stops humming, buzzing or whiring. It does have some good features, it’s very spacious and I love the middle flexible draw. But it just never stops with the noise and sometimes gets up to 50 decibels. If you are sensitive to noise or have an open plan kitchen - do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.
We had them come out. To their credit they were very prompt. But apparently it’s normal because it has 3 motors or something like that.
And to top it off as others have said the plastic is crap. We already after less than six months have a broken fruit draw.

Great fridgeI bought this fridge 2 weeks ago and love it. Lots of room and well designed. I'd recommend getting it plumbed in beforehand, so that it can be installed properly during delivery. The middle drawer is a bonus, as it converts to either fridge or freezer. One thing to watch out for is clearance for the doors. We found out, as it was being installed, that a common issue is to allow enough room for the thick doors to open. Not a big problem for us. We were able to bring the fridge forward, fortunately, but it is a gotchya. The water / ice dispenser is excellent, but the ice production is very slow so allow time for that (not too noisy which is great).

A little disappointed with capacityBought this 4 weeks ago and overall it functions well. I am still trying to find the best spaces for placement for things. Depth of upper (perspex) freezer drawer is a little deceptive. Things I place in there keep catching on the drawer above. There is not sufficient freezer space for us so are using the middle drawer as extra freezer space and still don't have enough. We are keeping ice cream etc in the freezer of our drinks fridge. Love the water / ice option as we haven't had this before. I am having trouble hooking up to the wifi. I have gone through all the steps and it tells me it could take more than a few minute to connect and never does.

Perfect streamlined fridgeI bought this fridge 6 weeks ago and absolutely love it. With a house full of 5 adults that need more fridge space than freezer having the ability to switch the top drawer from freezer to fridge and utilise as a drinks drawer/fridge or extra fridge space is a godsend! When researching fridges it was the only fridge with this option that I could find. I bought it sight unseen (as in I bought online with our having the benefit of seeing it in person) and I wasn't disappointed! As an Interior Designer I love the fact that the handles are integrated enabling the fridge to fit seamlessly into my kitchen design. I can't recommend this product highly enough.

Excellent Fridge!I bought this Electrolux fridge after having an 8 month battle with Samsung, for a refund, over a fridge we bought which was a "lemon". The Electrolux fridge is wonderful. I read the reviews before purchasing the Electrolux and would disagree about the noise. It is not a noisy fridge. Also, we have a large household and the ice maker keeps up with the demand. Overall an excellent fridge with good appointments inside. Having had a similar style by Samsung, I can safely say this fridge will not disappoint. I did a lot of research before purchasing the Electrolux because of the disaster with our Samsung. I would definitely recommend it

What is the price for air & water filters for model ehe6899sa? Thanks

Thanks for your question Frankie. You can press and hold ‘Reset Air Filter’ for 3 seconds to reset, as this does not need replacing. You can also find information on this in your instruction manual with the unit. The ULX220m water filter is not carried in stores and can be ordered via Electrolux directly or through your closest Harvey Norman store, who can advise approximate time-frames and costs.

Where do I find details re how large the opening needs to be in the kitchen joinery to give full operable use of the fridge?

Thanks for your question John. A fridge needs a gap of 50mm free space around the sides and back of the unit, and 25mm space at the top for air flow. An additional width of 150mm toward the front may be required to allow the doors to open fully. Hope this helps!

Why Air filter and water filter light is on?

Thanks for your question. These displays illuminate every 6 months or when the air or water filters need replacing. Press and hold ‘Reset Air Filter’ for 3 seconds to reset. These can be ordered via Electrolux directly or through your closest Harvey Norman store. You can also find information on this in your instruction manual with the unit.
