Good but could be better
We've owned this fridge for 5 months as we had to purchase as our previous Samsung fridge didn't fit in the space at our new house. Fridge is good. Keeps food cold and fresh some bottles can't be stood upright due to narrow shelving. Biggest gripe is the ice maker. Takes 5-7 days to fill from empty to full. The ice boost function is a gimmick as it just drops the temp of the freezer for a day, but doesn't generate any more ice. We're a family of four and we do use a quiet a bit of ice on hot days or when active in the garden or outdoors. The ice machine just doesn't keep up, where Samsung fridge had ice replenished in 24-36 hours. If you buy this fridge and your hosting a party. Prepare to buy back-up ice

No cold water.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the fridge I would say is good one of the major reasons we bought this model was for the plumbed cold water when it turns out it is not even as good as one with a water tank inside. We were concerned that after about one tall glass of water which only comes out cool and not cold that is it for about an hour. When contacting Fisher and Paykel they sent us a list of reasons that it might not be working properly and only when I specifically asked how big the water tank was and it’s location did they say it was less than 500 mls. Very poor.

Perfect choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous fridge freezer (not F&P) kept on warming up in January 2025 and creating havoc with the contents. Rather that get it repaired again I decided to bite the bullet, even though it was only 6 years old, and get a new one. The Series 7 Quad door looked great on the shop floor and looks even batter in our kitchen. The design and layout works really well, especially the freezer which is far better than the two drawer option we had previously. The price was a real bonus too given we had already lined it up as our preference.

498L Quad door fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fridge for our holiday house in beach side Victoria. The only slight disadvantage is that you cannot fit frozen pizzas in the freezer draws section. If freezer opened with 1 large door instead of double doors, the centre pillar design could have been eliminated and larger draws could have been designed. We could not pick anything larger as it had to fit in our cavity. Other than that small issue, fridge is great. Love the water dispenser & ice making feature which is hard to find on fridges this size and absolutely love the back full fridge size LED light at the back of the fridge. Quality seems really good. Only other improvement would be to add LED lights in the freezer section.

Happy 1st time F&P fridge owners!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our brand new 4 door fridge a month ago and are so happy with it. It is so roomy in both the fridge and freezer sections and keeps food beautifully chilled. We love the addition of the filtered water and ice making option. The ice is a great size for drinks being not as big as usual. The colour is great (gorgeous shade of black) and with the cavity space we have available you can open all the doors without it banging against anything. Love the smooth sleek lines and no handles.

Not ideal design for size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has a few inconvenient quirks that make it less appealing than the fridge it replaced (an LG) - more difficult access to vege bin (one not 2 bins and requires both doors to be open) which are smaller due to placement of water container and smaller freezer drawers (and the shelf space beside the ice container is too small to be much use. It does however have shelves in both doors - depends what you prefer I guess. Ease of use and veges over drinks!

Great Fridge Overall
Great fridge overall but the water cooler is not cold enough, even left for a few hours. Instructions state it has to be installed professionally but the supplier did not state this and we already had access to water. So now I am unsure how hard to turn the tap on. The website is hard to navigate, and I could not find the fridge on it and had issues registering the product and had to ask support for help. There was SO MUCH PLASTIC on this product, omg I am sure I have missed some.

Best fridge under 500L with great a great finish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fridge, good quality finish and plenty of space. Love that the shelves are very adjustable. It does come with alot of plastic wrapping for protection which takes a while to undo. If you have a high water pressure you may need to grab a small inexpensive pressure limiter for the water dispenser. Overall great quality product, well done Fisher and Paykel
