Recommend great fridgeI bought this fridge with some trepidation due to a few poor reviews but it fit the existing space in our kitchen perfectly. In reality this is a fantastic fridge. Great storage. Ice doesn’t form large lumps like our previous fridge. Water dispenser is powerful - I can only assume other peoples issues were related to their water pressure. I would highly recommend this fridge.

A good fridge but with an ice maker problem[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge has some good qualities and is nicely finished. However, the fact that you can not switch off the ice maker function is an issue for me. The supplied ice container is huge and basically takes up the whole top shelf in the left hand side of the freezer. It takes A LOT of ice..more than a normal family of four would use and because you cannot switch the ice maker off it continues to make ice until the container is full to the sensor level which then stops further ice being made. You can take the container out but the ice maker then continues to make is which drops onto the shelf until sufficient is there to activate the sensor. This means that I am unlikely to be able to use the switch zone function in the right hand side of the freezer because the ice maker basically eliminate the top lefthand freezer shelf from being used for other food stuff. i have not yet tried filling this shelf with sufficient food in weight to activate the ice maker switch off sensor. When I queried the lack of ice maker switch off with Haier I was told my retailer should have told me! He didn't know either until I showed him and it NOT a likely question that buyers would ask..they would assume like me that ice making is optional at any time. This problem definitely needs fixing Haier!
