When storing approximately 1.7kg of vegetables in the Aero-care Vege Compartment (Lower case) at a room temperature of approximately 20℃ for 10 days without wrapping or opening/closing the door, the humidity inside the refrigerator will be 68-95%. Humidity varies depending on the amount and type of food being stored, freshness, and operating conditions of the refrigerator. Effects may differ depending on the type, state and amount of vegetables.

Awesome storage size & options with easy access
I bought this a few weeks ago it's so good to be able to find everything.
Great to have the glass doors as the stainless fridges go rusty & are a pain to clean.

Big capacity but narrow depth.
We needed a large capacity fridge that wasn’t too deep as we didn’t want the fridge sticking a long way out from the kitchen cupboards. The Hitachi R-GW670 ticked the box as it is 670 litres and the cabinet is only 594mm deep (so only the doors sit out from the kitchen cupboards).
The main French Door fridge compartment has heaps of space, both on shelves and in the door pockets. We set this area set to Moist Cooling which helps retain moisture and food freshness. Our favourite feature is the Vacuum Compartment. We mainly use it for Deli Meats and Cheeses. It works by air being pumped out, creating a vacuum. It is brilliant in keeping food fresh and edible. It works equally well on fresh meat and is also useful for marinating meats before barbecuing.
We have found the Fresh Food drawer really extends the life of the veggies; they stay fresher for longer so we eat them rather than throwing out limp veggies after a few days. Both the fresh food and freezer drawers have auto opening and there is plenty of storage space.
This Made in Japan fridge looks great, is easy to clean, auto ice making, great energy rating and a 5 year warranty making it a real winner!

Shiny black beauty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with this fridge. I’ve come from a side-by-side fridge, and I much prefer this layout. Everything is easy to see and access, no more losing jars at the back and discovering expired sauces months later, and the fruit and vege sliding drawers give great visibility of what’s in there. The ice maker is cool, easy to use- so long as you remember to refill the water compartment occasionally, it does everything else for you. Even the young adults in the house can manage it, which says a lot! One of the biggest surprises for me has been the quick freezing tray. Before having this, I rarely froze meat, especially things like steak or fish. Now, I freeze steak, mince, and salmon regularly, and they cook almost as well as if they’d never been frozen. It’s completely changed how I shop and plan meals. The vacuum drawer is another feature I didn’t realise I needed. Fresh meat and deli items last noticeably longer, and it’s brilliant for marinating. Forgetting to prep the night before is no longer a thing just an hour or so in the compartment and you’re good to go. Overall it’s a thoughtfully designed fridge that’s made everyday life easier.
