DO NOT BUY LG FRIDGE IF LIVE IN PERTH WAAll LG fridges come with 10 year compressor guarantee - great you think - recommended by choice - fantastic. Problem is if you live in Perth WA the only company which supports LG fridges DOES NOT REPLACE COMPRESSORS. Therefore buy another brand who can support their product where ever you live in Australia. I have been 2 months trying to get LG to sort this issue and still no closer to getting replacement compressor (which you as the consumer has to pay for the labour to replace btw)

False advertising - 530L fridgeWe bought the 530L slim french door fridge. It clearly states on the LG website and marketing brochures that it fits in a 850mm alcove. So we built the kitchen surround to this dimension. Now we have put the fridge in place and find we can't open the doors. The way the doors hinge means you need about 100mm extra clearance on both sides of the door. We are extremely disappointed and feel completely deceived by the marketing claims

Great FridgeI bought this upside-down fridge 12 months ago and it is great. Being a taller person, I can see what is in the fridge without having to bend down. The freezer is a bit smaller than my last but that is no big deal for family of 4. The previous fridge was a junk storage facility. This great fridge allows better meal planning. When fridge was delivered, I read the instructions that show how to adjust doors etc. Easy fridge to use.

False advertising - Fridge widthWebsite says the fridge fits an alcove of 850mm and the images show the fridge flush with surrounding cabinetry / elements. My alcove is 879mm and I have to place the fridge protruding 100mm from the alcove in order to open the doors completely and not rub / hit other areas of the kitchen. Advertising should clearly state the required width with fridge not protruding from alcove (assume this would be closer to 900mm/950mm).
