Ice Maker broken after a moth of usageI bought the LG Side by Side 641L at the end of December 24 and now in early Feb 25 the Ice Maker stops working.
I turn off the ice maker and turn back on and hear a hard click sound as motor runs but the tray is not tilted fully and barely moves.
This is very poor reliability for a premium priced fridge. If I had known that the Ice Maker was that unreliable I would not have bought the unit.
Does LG even field test their fridges? I would have expected them to test the ice-maker is functional for at least 3 months before mass production.
Such poor engineering is unimaginable in these modern times.

Awesome fridgeIt's a really great fridge. No need to connect to a plumbing supply but still can manage to make ice and cold water. It is very useful and convenient. It has plenty of space and is very affordable.

Block ice, crushed ice and cold water non-plumbedIce and cold water non plumbed is a life changer. I had the model before and the buttons etc to get water and ice is much better now. The fridge is spacious and I highly recommend it.

We really like it!Great fridge & freezer. Plenty of room. We love the fact we don’t have to plumb the fridge freezer to get cold water & ice. The water needs to be filled daily, if not more than once daily but that’s no real issue. I would rather that than plumbing. Really like the fridge.
