I upgraded from the A7r3 and although the A7r3 was and is a great camera the A7c2 outshines it in every way. The menus are easier to get around. The autofocus is outstanding. The camera is light, small and easy to carry around. I am still learning what this camera can do.

I had come up with the idea of a full frame camera in a small package back when the Sony 5100 was released and I purchased that. Now, with the Sony a7c ii, it has exceeded my expectations in a compact full frame camera. The grip is a greater improvement and front dial gives it a more professional feel like my Sony a1. It is my b camera for sports but my main camera for travel, every day photos, portraits and landscapes.

We live right on the water so taking shots of what's out the window can be difficult to attain a similar representation of what I m seeing and this camera gets as close as you could reasonably expect.

I’ve used a variety of cinema cameras from arri, black magic, and sonys fx line and I can confidently say that you will not be able to differentiate the quality between them.
