Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent stils camera with decent video I've had this camera for a while now. There are two ares where this camera really shines. As a full frame camera, the depth of field is maximised on all those lenses that can fit either format. It was nice to start getting the full idea of what some of those lenses are meant for. Secondly, this camera excels as a low light camera. Photos are no longer dominated by bright foreground subjects due to having to ramp up flash settings. Instead, you get a much more even lighting and a noticeable absence of specular highlights. The video mode is decent, and the camera is shaped nicely to fit well in most adult hands. This is a great camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable full frame DSLR camera I have owned mine for just over 12 months now, paired with a 85mm EF lens it's worked without issue doing model shoots in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart. For a travel camera it's light enough to carry onboard planes Picture colour quality is outstanding, button layout is easy to use. Menu is simple to use and it has GPS built in which allows me to track my travel vlogging shooting locations. I like the amount of focus points, as a photographer I only need 1 Ergonomic handheld is easy on the wrist, not bulky not heavy. Battery life is outstanding, I carry three batteries but one lasts easily for a 6 hour shoot.

It doesn't have some features of the newer mirrorless systems however remains the cheapest entry point to full frame for Canon users. If you have Canon glass and can live without certain video features then the 6D Mark II is a worthy upgrade for photographers.

One of many features I like is that I can transfer photos wirelessly from camera to my iPhone. Great camera and value for money ( for a full frame camera)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Supurb quality I purchased the Canon 6D MkII to replace my older 400d and I was quite blown away by its quality. I love the live view feature which will make it really useful for my astrophotography work. Its high ISO feature means I can shoot images indoors without requiring a very expensive lens and because the price of the camera is quite affordable, beginner photographers beed not spend a fortune.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent Professional camera! I upgraded from an 80D, with the features and more of a 5Dm4 at an affordable price. The main criticism online is about dynamic range which is void with built in AEB. I highly recommend this camera as it enters Canon's professional range. I chose this over the dearer 5Dm4 and have no regrets.
