All of the ports work reliably, and I haven’t run into any compatibility issues with my laptop or accessories. The 2.5GbE port is a big upgrade from standard hubs and gives noticeably faster, more stable wired speeds. As being a girl in tech it’s really helpful! This Belkin 8-Port USB-C Hub is exactly what I needed. It gives me all the ports my laptop was missing, and everything works flawlessly. The HDMI output is super clear and smooth for watching movies, and the 2.5Gb Ethernet makes my internet way faster and more stable than Wi-Fi. I also love that it can charge my laptop while everything else is plugged in. The build quality feels premium, and setup was literally plug-and-play. Definitely worth it — highly recommend!

It makes switching from cords from multiple different laptops a breeze, which is great if you work from home and have to utilize multiple different cords. I can plug all my peripherals such as monitor, mouse, keyboard, and USB devices and instead of unplugging them all the time, just switch what’s plugged into the hub! I have not had any issues with any of the ports, or the cables falling out. The hub is very sturdy and takes up less room than the traditional docking station. Overall, I’m really impressed and recommend checking this out!

There is no charging capability as I thought there would be. However, for needing to connect extra wires to the laptop/computer, it works well. I was able to connect my wireless mouse usb plug, my headset and my external camera with ease. I would recommend this product when you need to connect other wires to the laptop and you need extra usb plug ins but note this will not charge your laptop if you plug this in and then plug your charger, that will not work

Rated 2 out of 5 by from does what it says, but understand what it doesn't I went shopping with an understanding of what ports I wanted but not the varieties they might show up in. After purchasing, I bumped in to the limitations that I can share since Belkin does not put them up front. Like most of these hubs at this price range, the one USB-C you have after connecting a charger to the PD one is low-speed charging and I think not high-speed data either. And none of the ports except (hopefully) the "male" cable out for your pc will give more than 5 or 7 W of power as they are individually restricted and don't just take all that is unused. If you want "fully-functional" USB-C or stronger charging, you need to shop for hubs that specifically advertise that (and hope they are honest). If they don't advertise it, that means you don't get it.
