Somewhere to keep my pens + charge my phone
Great mouse pad, nice firm surface and a good size, no issue running out of room for mousing. I always lose my pens so the divot to store a pen in is great - in the product photo it's actually a (very nice) pencil in a fancy black wrap. The phone charger works well, although it can be a little fiddly to get the phone to line up but I think that's pretty common with wireless chargers in general, and this isn't really any worse than others I've used.
