It does the job
I've been using for a month. I got the 32g/1T version to try and utilise the offline AI capabilities to assist structuring confidential notes and reports. It works well for the most part. I've had no major issues. My main criticisms are:
- The screen is very average, poor depth of colour and reflects a lot of light.
- At this time I've found both Microsoft's and HPs offline AI are really poor in terms of output compared to online equivalents. It hasn't helped with what I'd hoped to use it for.
- The facial recognition does not work consistently (maybe 3/10 attempts) despite multiple attempts to recalibrate it. This is in comparison to my previous 2019 Spectre which worked every single time from the day I set it up.
What I like most:
- It's fast.
- Battery life seems good.
- It's light.
- The keyboard feels nice with really nice pop for a notebook. Though I worry it might not hold up over time.
All in all I wish I'd bought a lower spec Spectre for a similar price. I miss the premium look, feel, and screen.

Perfect for My Admin Business
I recently purchased the HP Omnibook 7 Aero Next Gen AI 13 to support my work as a sole trader running an admin business, and it’s been an excellent choice.
The laptop is fast, lightweight, and handles everything I throw at it—multiple tabs, cloud-based apps, emails, and documents—without missing a beat. It’s responsive and reliable, which makes a big difference when juggling a busy workload.
The AI features are a great bonus and help streamline day-to-day tasks. Battery life tends to last around 4–6 hours for me, which is decent considering I usually have several apps, documents, and browser tabs open at once. For lighter use, I imagine it would stretch even further.
Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s a great fit for small business owners or sole traders who need strong performance in a portable, professional package.

It's beautifully designed and lightweight. It's the best and most convenient computer I've ever bought. I gave it four stars because it doesn't have a card reader. Otherwise, it would have been a perfect score.

Omni 13.3" - Compact laptop Nice design, & exactly 1kg in weight
Although a bit on the expensive side (for me) I've been very happy with this laptop, especially about the design, its speed, its weight & size. I mainly bought this for travel, and don't plan to use it for high powered graphics, video editing or gaming, but it's a great all round computer & I'm very happy with my decision to buy.
