Most of the essentiall apps are monetised
I love the product. It gives me exactly what I wanted from it. It is a powerful machine, but most of the functional software that makes it whole is already monetised by HP, unfortunately. Most of these apps are supposed to be pre-installed by default, but unfortunately the customer has to pay for them in full or by subscription after a month or limited period trial. To me, this is the sad part of the product.

Regretful purchase of 2 Omnibooks
Bought 2 units at the same time. Both delivered promptly within a few days but with incorrect warranty dates on both which is still not resolved, 1 unit is reporting 3 months older than delivered date and the other unit 1 month older than delivered date. Screen failed on one unit after 2 weeks, took about 8hrs of chat help and 1 week to get it fixed. Chat help is useless and even tried to tell me the problem was fixed when it wasnt! They are however very good at telling you they are very sorry!

Good, solid laptop
A pretty great laptop for the price; I got it on sale, too, which was great. Handles study and general browsing, streaming quite well. It hasn't slowed down and I've had multiple tabs and documents open at the same time. Only negative I would add is the keyboard feels quite flimsy and thin; I've fixed this by buying a portable keyboard. Other than that, a nice laptop for my needs.

Irritations
I don't like the keyboard being a little off center. Often I type the wrong key because of it.
The computer often goes quickly to a shortcut when I am typing a word. I will be typing the word "hope" and it immediately switches to the shortcut connected to letter "o" . This happens very often first thing in the morning and is so frustrating.

Great Features, Short Battery Life
I liked everything about the laptop, the screen, the weight, the keyboard, everything but the battery life. I did a continuous test running a Youtube video, 8 hours until the battery died. If 8 hours is enough for you, then this is a great laptop, but it wasn't long enough for me.

Ok Machine
Good: For the price point> 32 GB ram, Strong processor, Convertible
Bad: Display still lagging behind (my 8 yrs old Surface book has much sharper display. Alos, Grainy if you see it closely. Not so bright as well, Not enough ports, Heavy.
Overall: Researched heavily, Didn't find any other machine with this config that I mentioned in "Good" section. So, manageable till I find something with better config on this price point (AUD 2900)

WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP
i am unlikely to ever buy an HP product again after this piece of garbage. It is super slow. Everything it does takes 10x longer than my last computer. I chose less than the most expensive graphics card, and it turns out it can't even play Evony without crashing (we're not talking about a first person shooter a flight simulator here, the graphics are rudimentary). Never again.
