Amazing.. but then again (hmmm)
Let's start by saying "WOW". What a screen <period>.
However, Samsung has somehow missed the mark with this one sadly. This is no monitor - it's a curved TV and that is all. If you have ultra fat pockets and just want something incredible to game on (i.e. probably console based), then this is the bad boy you've been looking for. If however you were hoping for an incredible piece of screen real-estate to both work and play, then you'll likely be disappointed.
The first issues you realise when sitting this close to a grand display like it are (a) HEAT, - oh boy, you get suntan under this much light (to be expected I guess), and.. (b) is the pixel density. 4K is great, don't get me wrong - but not when viewed in 55' size and seated so close to a desk. You can easily make out individual pixels. When running as standard PC (i.e. Windows), the desktop is too enlarged. Really this should have been an 8K panel to maximise the sheer surface area the screen has to offer. The other issue is that as soon as you scale down (i.e. via multi-view), the screen resolution dips so low it often becomes unreadable.
All the in-built features are either suited to console gaming or for their in-built apps. The screen OS is same as their TV lineup (adequate for TV but not great for Windows PC use). There are no multiple PC/laptop connectivity modes (unless you run one in wireless broadcast). The OneConnect box is great but is identical to the same device seen on other Samsung TV's. There could have been far better USB3 / USB C options with pass-through to the PC, including perhaps an inbuilt KVM switch at this price point.
The dial remote is a nice addition but again feels more like something which suits a TV viewer.
Build quality is best in class. The stand (which allows the crazy portrait mode) is madness in itself and a fantastic addition.
Overall it's a niche product, and maybe the next version will nail the brief but for now I would carefully consider whether spending this much is worth it, considering there are so many other great PC monitors around.

Big, Beautiful Beast of a Gaming Monitor.
Fantastic gaming monitor experience with a lot of built in software including Smart TV, multi-screen, aspect ration change between three formats and refresh rate up to 165Hz. I have a high-end gaming PC with an i9 12900 CPU, Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti GPU, 32 Gb Memory and M.2 Gen 4 SSD. It works well with this monitor at full UHD @ 165Hz. However, there are three issues, the price, the size and weight and finally the picky need for a robust Ultra Fast HDMI cable. However, on saying that, once you have forked out the dough and placed it where you won't move it again, it is a great asset that will last many years.

Wow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great concept, awesome device! Have had it for over a month now, using it for work and gaming.
Only grievance is it doesn't support picture in picture or allow one device to utilise multiple hdmi ports for monitor 1 and 2, this would have made this product phenomenal!!!!

Great Monitor and a lot of screen real estate
It's big is an understatement. Its better to have a good graphics card to enjoy better quality in games.
The setup is possible by one person if you would like to have body pains for the night.
The multi screen thing is beautiful works great. Basically a TV masquerading as a monitor.
Lucky I bought this on 50 % discount wouldn't have bought it if it was more than that.
In Australia Don't buy it any more than 2K. Its not worth more than that. There are various other options you can enjoy at that price.

Great monitor but overcomplicated settings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] great looking monitor really love it but when it comes down to the settings even I am computer savvy is greatly confused and get lost and feel like I'm missing out on options..
seems like different options get moved in the settings and I just don't get it.
I wish that they made up more intuitive.
Even The colour settings are so confusing I just give up. I want that to be a clear cut computer setting versus game setting versus TV setting. But it feels like I'm always adjusting

Its great I'll never go back!
Bought this thing and loving it for both work and play.
Assembly was very simple and easy, the weight was managable but for most 40kg might be a bit much so make sure to get a second person as instructed.
It takes a bit of messing around in windows but after about an hour I was rolling. There are some gotchas - ie: windows recommended zoom being 300% (125% is perfect), windows auto brightness features doing wierd things when you come back from suspension, HDR on a black ground will make the text fuzzy but once you realise which bits are messing with you it is a simple solve.
For gaming it is great - its pretty easy to get immersed and while it is quite bright I have no issues with eye strain or heat like the other reviewer. For the most part you will be playing windowed gaming with probably 75-80% of the real estate manly to avoid missing stuff at the top of the screen, however every day I seem to be going larger and larger because I am getting use to it. My gripe is that you cant go slightly lower down on the stand to counter the top being ever so slightly requiring you to look up.
I dont use multiview at all - while its cool that I get all the tv features... I have a TV for that and I dont console game. Also will never use cockpit mode - its just impractical.
For work - setting up fancyzones or the equivalent in Mac is a must. So for those that arent use to using powertools you might find resizing windows all the times annoying but using snap points and shortcuts makes working a breeze. Coding all day with 3 full IDE's on screen with all the code visible is simply game changing. Sneaking something like youtube or NBA in your bottom right corner with work chat above it plus all your usual work tools on the left is also another perk of having so much real estate and visual depth.
Price tag will be too high for most people - I think they could easily do the screen without the need for the one connect and multi view for those that just want to PC game/work. So I'd expect the next iteration to be a bit on the budget side but with all the benefits for PC use only.
I really hope the price tag doesnt kill this line of monitor because it is by far waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the G8 Ultrawide.

Multiview not as I thought but great for gaming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this monitor for a month now. I probably am partially to blame for not checking properly as I thought I could have split screens for both my personal and work pc and that was what I bought this monitor for. My previous set up had 2 34 inch monitors side by side and I thought the Ark would solve my problem. But instead all it offered me in Multiview function was either one or I could connect both pc, one connecting wirelessly and the other using HDMI and gave a very small screen on the display for one of them, which wasn't what I wanted. Now I have a very large monitor for displaying just one of work or personal pc... The multiview also doesn't allow me to display the pc with anything from my Media Hub like Netflix, Disney + etc and only let's me display the Samsung TV Plus.... In terms of gaming, it works very well with my PS5 and I enjoy playing games with multiplayer screen with the kids.

Amazing monitor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a financial analyst and find this monitor amazing for my work, the size, the clarity is amazing. Also the curve helps to relieve eye strain and view everything I'm working on at once. 5 stars.
