The Epson ET-16600 EcoTank Pro All-in-One Printer delivers exceptional results with a print resolution of 4800 x 2400 dpi.
Take advantage of fast printing and receive output at 12 ppm for colour and 25 ppm for black and white. The printer also has an input paper capacity of 550 sheets and supports duplex and borderless printing.
With an innovative PrecisionCore Heat-Free Printing Technology, the ET-16600 EcoTank delivers reliable performance to meet all your printing needs.
The Epson ET-16600 comes with a 4.3-inch TFT-LCD (Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display) touchscreen, allowing you to access all its features and settings quickly and easily.
Preserve essential documents digitally in high-resolution thanks to this printer's scanning resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi.
It comes with a Contact Image Sensor and like in printing mode, the scanner function can also perform duplex scanning. It also lets you do wireless printing and scan to email.
Copying files is made easier on this Epson EcoTank Pro as it can duplicate up to 999 pages of one document. The printer can also reduce or enlarge copies from 25 to 400%.
It also comes with fax functionality that has a resolution of 200 x 200, a modem transmission speed of up to 33.6 kb/s (approx. 3 secs per page), and lets you keep up to 200 names and numbers for speed dial.
With a download of the Epson Connect app, you can connect your printer with multiple devices and use it from anywhere in your home. It also supports wireless printing using its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, or you can use its USB port for wired printing.
It has an AC input power of 100-240V and has a maximum power consumption of 19 W.
This EcoTank printer is compatible with various paper sizes, including A4, A3/A3+, A6, Legal, and envelopes. It is also suitable to use the Epson T542 ink cartridge for this printer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DKKP from Refurbished unit is actually "used" The printer is fine. Output is decent. I liked the idea of Ecotank, and the model was sold out, so I bought refurbished. Unfortunately, the Maintenance Box Service Life indicator shows that the service life is about 2/3 - 3/4 full. I expected it to be full, as this is a consumable part and should have been replaced/replenished during refurbishment. Epson have not bothered to respond to my support ticket for the past 9 days, which is unacceptable. Additionally, A3 printing of photo paper only works from the paper tray (manual feed) instead of the paper drawers. That's annoying, but not a deal-breaker.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mic88 from Doesn't meet expectation On paper the features sounded remarkable. It's a good document printer. Trying to print photographs or graphics is hard work. Margins are inaccurate and no amount of adjustment in Printer menu seems to correct the inaccuracy. Double-sided printing documents is okay, but trying to print double-sided graphics or photographs doesn't work, regardless of setting changes in both software or printer menu. Back page is either printed upside down or margins do not match. Have tried setting margins to both sides of page to line up when bound, but they do not. It's a time acting and frustrating printer. Okay if your'e only printing Word.docs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by duplexer_issue from Duplexer page damage issue The print quality is excellent, and I have used the 16600 for printing many documents. HOWEVER, the A3 duplexer has a serious issue, nicking the middle of the short edge of every page on the return trip. I have now had two units of ET-16600 (and three duplexers - I had one replaced), and they have all consistently had the same problem with the duplexer page nicking. In a large document, it results in an ugly river of identical v-shaped creases through all the pages. A workaround is to print only on one side odd numbered pages, and then carefully reverse and feed in the resulting stack and print all the even pages (lousy). The print quality is so good that it's almost worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NikC from Well not overly impressed for my money yet I've literally just set this up so my review and ratings are based on setup experience and about a dozen prints to test colour. Havent printed on A3 yet but will do after this. Firstly setup was really easy had no issues setting up on the printer itself, my phone and laptop. Colour not so great with pics from mobile or laptop quality could be better in fact expected better. Also dont like power cord connection to the printer, its loose fitting like it just literally sits in there. Will investigate further if this is common with epson printers if not will send it back. For the price of the printer you'd think everything would be of better quality especially the power connection power cord connection to the printer

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from What other multifunction ink tank exists I’ve searched high and low for a good quality (4800 dpi) multifunction that accommodates A3 & A4 paper trays, with an A3 auto feed scanner, prints good quality drawings / line weights in colour and greyscale. This is an ‘all in one’ printer / scanner / copier / fax that isn’t an expensive lazer version and doesn’t require an expensive set of ink cartridges…I couldn’t find anything else on the market that meets our practice requirements that is comparable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Connection0 from Connection to other devices is very difficult Printer works ok as a home printer but the connection to other devices , mobiles and PCs is nightmare espically if you want to scan . Finally got it going reliablly by direct connecting it using a usb cable which has to be the old antiqiated square type which not many people have now . Also found the associated software that has to be downloaded was quite obtrustive and in the end I deleted off my computer to stop nusaince notifications. I usually take the car to my work office and use the printer there rather than waste time trying to get this thing to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JimboMelb from Good Pigment Ink Photos We needed a cheap to run, long lasting general and photo printer that was A3. This was the only printer that fitted the bill. A3 printer and scanner with pigment ink. We looked closely at the 8500, but didn’t want to rely on dye inks. So, we made a compromise with the few colours, but are very happy with the prints. Our quality reference was photo books we had published in the past and this printer does as good as, if not a better job. Tip to Mac users, if you need more printer options - look at printing via the ColorSync utility. Very happy.
