The size is perfect—it’s small enough to fit my wrist comfortably while still looking stylish and fashionable. It seamlessly supports all my activities, including running, walking, strength training, and yoga, with especially impressive running metrics that keep me motivated and informed. Beyond workouts, the Garmin Fēnix 8 excels at everyday wellness tracking. It accurately monitors sleep, stress levels, and daily steps, giving me a clear picture of my overall health. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Intuitive Feedback and Features I loved my old Fenix 5s, but was excited to upgrade to the 8 for the added features of sleep analysis and answering calls from my watch. This was no small upgrade. The features in the 8 are far superior and I can't imagine using any other watch. The ability to use workouts right from the watch and have a running coach right on my wrist is a game changer when it comes to upgrading my fitness routine. The sleep analysis and spO2 monitoring are added features I was really looking forward to having and the total body battery is a great insight to how my health is overall. Forget Apple watches and Fitbits, this has both types of wrist-based tech beat by a longshot.

Had another smart watch for years & do not do well with having to learn new products… however, due to the short battery life on my old brand I decided to make the switch. Honestly, I think the forerunner would have sufficed for my needs (& lower cost preference) BUT decided to treat myself. It’s a bit larger than I’m used to but am enjoying it, just wish it had an easier band (like my old watch). It has a multitude of uses, so I’m slowly learning how to maneuver thru my activities, flashlight, etc… IF YOU’RE CONSIDERING A SWITCH OR AN UPGRADE, THIS IS DEFINITELY THE WATCH FOR YOU!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features but falls short! I was very excited to upgrade from my Garmin Fenix 6S to the Fenix 8. However, I was frustrated with the treadmill and running activity features as the heart rate was completely inaccurate. It was spiking within the first 5-10 minutes from the 130's-140's to over 180's and stayed there for the better part of my treadmill run, specifically, before dropping back down into the 130's-140's. Garmin did exchange watches for another new one and the heart rate was spiking the same way. I reached out to Garmin and they sent the HRM200. This has seemed to have solved much of the issue. It's frustrating that the watch is SO expensive and isn't accurate where it should be! Hopefully the update will help to balance the heart rate metric to reflect the correct heart rate.

I feel like its not as solid in terms of software vs apple watch which is a letdown. It would be great if garmin put additional attention in to their software and watch usability to ensure everything works as expected. May be an issue with software q/a… not sure. Other than that im pleased with it. Comfort is actually great especially since i have the 43mm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch! I bought this for my wife after owning the 47mm for myself. The perfect watch for everything you could possibly imagine. It never leaves my wrist. Battery life is exceptional, with extremely fast charging. Large, vibrant and clear screen can be seen in all light conditions. Tracks everything: sleep, workouts, runs and everyday health. I reccomend this to anyone from all spectrums of fitness levels. Can be used as a great motivator as it cues you to be more active or when you need to rest.

Sleep scores, workout activities, pulse ox, fitness reminders, connectivity to phone, wifi, etc. Morning summary is great. In my mind better than an apple watch if you want deeper insights. i’m getting into hiking so I like the mapping options. Cons: it is a bit bulky for sleeping with. if you have all the heart rate tracking features on and phone connectivity, it does being the battery to 7 days. I like it so far.

I rarely look at my garmin connect app on my phone anymore. It is expensive, but I wanted to treat myself. This is the 4th garmin product I've had in 20 years-I may not use all of the apps to the full extent, but I don't do that on my phone either. I am enjoying learning how to use it, and happy with new discoveries each day
