Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple Received this for Christmas 2024. Wife got it on sale. Layout is simple and operation is basic which means long battery life. Just saw the new instinct 3 and have to say I like the case of this instinct 2 better. To me the case design of the 3 looks pretty pretentious. The touch screen on the 3 looks nice for sure but for the fundamentals of a nav watch, the 2 works well enough for me. Tried it out while hunting and marked waypoints and where I set a blind up. Also used it for running on the treadmill and after calibrating the distance twice, it was getting pretty accurate. No complaints!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough as nails I’m a carpenter, I’ve worn a garmin instinct solar watch for nearly 3 years. They’re tough and rugged, from backpacking to hunting and everyday wear I like to think I’ve put it to the test. The band is really its only weak spot, rubbing it on asphalt shingles can wear it down. Havnt managed to scratch the glass yet. During summer it’s almost always fully charged, winter with long clothes maybe once a month it needs charged. Highly recommend, I also would like to do a shout to garmin customer support/ service. They are top notch and deserve a big time pat on the back. Well out of warranty (by like years) they helped me through an issue with my original instinct solar and eventually got me hooked up with the instinct solar 2. I will forever be a garmin customer, thank you all once again.

The battery life is seriously impressive, lasting way longer than most smartwatches, and it handles tracking, navigation, and health stats without any fuss. The camo design gives it a rugged, low-key style that fits perfectly whether you’re out in the wild or just working hard. Overall, it’s a solid, no-nonsense watch that does exactly what you need it to and does it well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the Watch but Wish Instructions Were Better I really like my new Instinct 2-Camo Edition. It has many cool features, but it is a bit intimidating for an older guy with mediocre tech skills. I will say that the more I use it, the more I like it. However, utilitzing some features is NOT intuitive, and it would help immensely, if there was a glossary of the basic terminology i.e. what is the difference between a course, a route, a hike. If support was better, I would give the Instinct 2 Camo 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple yet has everything you need Brought it about 2 months ago, simple similar to a gschock, but has practically everything you might need to track your fitness lifestyle. Calories burned, steps, runs. The connect app is a plus with a lot of features. Not technological as an Apple Watch but is more tuned for fitness than the Apple Watch and seems more accurate. Got it on sale, so that was a plus.

After face change thank you iq and setting my favorite sports and sincing Candace sensor, and setting auto pause on bike mode I'm set. After all that watch at 80% battery. I'm impressed.
