Looks great; not easy to use
I really wanted to like this watch. I’ve been looking everywhere for a less obtrusive smart watch and thought this would be it. I love how low it is, and that it has actual watch hands. It is a good looking watch. In the month I had it, I was not able to master the tapping and scrolling to find the menu I needed. I was also unable to change certain settings that made my watch annoying. For example, I want email notifications to show up on my phone, I don’t want them to show up on my watch; you can’t make that distinction if you have an iPhone. I also didn’t like that you couldn’t view the actual watch at night. Ultimately, I ended up returning this watch.

Style
I truly love the style of my Garmin vívomove Trend. As someone approaching 50, I really appreciate that I can wear this with dress clothes for work but still stay active with it. It’s the perfect blend of fashion and function.
My only real complaint is the screen; I wish it were a bit clearer or brighter. My vision isn't what it used to be, and I sometimes have difficulty seeing the display clearly. It also took a little while to learn the interface it wasn't the easiest to pick up at first, but I’m getting used to it now. Despite the screen and the learning curve, I am really happy with this watch because it looks so good

Great everyday watch
I wear this watch ever day. I get so many compliments on it and everyone loses it when I tell them it's a smart watch. I has all the functions I need in an everyday watch. One of my favorite features is the "find my phone" button that makes it easy to locate your phone. I've been swimming with it and everything is fine but touchscreen in water or with water droplets is a little iffy. My only gripe is you can not customize your automatic response to text from the watch. It has a few built in responses but they are very generic, there's not even a "yes" response but there is a "no" response. Overall worth the purchase!

A wonderful hybrid smartwatch
I still wear the Garmin vivomove HR from time to time. Tried the vivomove style, and went through three different versions of the Garmin vivomove Trend. It was a nice timepiece and the design was lovely. One in a while the touch screen was not quite precise enough for my needs. The auto-brightness never quite got the screen bright enough. Battery life was great, weight was lovely, and the navigation was easy.
As far as accuracy goes, yes, I felt it was just as accurate as my Garmin Fēnix 7X or EPIX 2. Why didn't I keep it?
1. no airplane mode
2. no shutdown feature
3. no Health Snapshot
4. no morning report

Replaced Vivomove HR
(Cream Gold, French Grey Band)
Needed a replacement for the HR, as I had it for YEARS and wore it until the screen stopped working (Garmin, you rock!) This is like the upgraded version! I love that it gives you a “Body Battery” and that I can track my water intake from the watch face. The face is so customizable, it’s crazy that they give you so many options. Additionally, the HR would track the distance walked, but did not have GPS features. This Trend will track distance and give you a map of where you walked or ran. My charge lasts around 3-4 days before needing a boost, and probably only takes 15 minutes to get back to a full charge. It also looks very elegant when the face is not lit up. Love it so far!

Great look but still need improvement on details.
Tbh i love how this watch looks like. The hidden screen prbb is the best idea i have ever seen. However, there are few set backs. First of all, the watch is analog so i was expecting to be able to see the handle all the time without any extra effort. However in my case when comes to the black version, even tho the tip is gray colored, but still hard to see with that black back. I was also expecting to see glow in the dark for the analog hand. But unfortunately it does not. So in the night i have to tap to see the time which is eh very unpleasant.

Difficult to Use
The watch hands are not illuminated, making it hard to tell time. The "Garmin" scribed on the clock face is placed where it looks like a clock hand pointing to 9, causing confusion when trying to read the time with the barely visible clock hands. There are so many functions that getting to the one you want is cumbersome. The ability to bring favorite functions to the top of the stack would be a help. There is no GPS, so I now have to strap my cell phone on my arm to record a run. I wish I had chosen another option.

Not As Expected
I bought this a month ago and the features aren't as I expected. The highest vibration for my morning alarm isn't as strong as my previous device, so I often sleep through it.
The screen doesn't respond that well when I try tap it to get to settings for a timer or to record an activity.
The device tells me to get up and move when I am on my feet at work, or to relax when I'm sitting.
I'm not sure at this point if it was an upgrade just because it looks prettier than the black square device I had before.
