Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I expected!!!! I've been using the Ring Light for a few months now. I needed something relatively compact that I can use on stream and for some cheeky little Instagram stories! I'm in my 30's (If you tell anyone I will scream) Fine lines and wrinkles are prevalent on my face in shady lighting. The ring light eliminates all of these by evenly lighting my face properly! I can honestly say I'm going to find it hard switching back to another lighting system! As a black creator, lighting is everything, it can take me from gray to gold! Make sure you take a moment to adjust your brightness and temperature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best! Light! Ever! I purchased the elgato ring light a week ago after careful research and this was the best decision I have ever made. As a professional gamer lighting is important to my stream and having other elgato products, the wave 3, shock mount, and capture card, I knew I had to have the ring light as well. The set up was so easy and the app is so easy to use and customize the perfect setting for all times of day and conditions. Highly recommend this light to everyone not just gamers, as it is perfect for and creator.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed. I just bought it today after my last one stopped working. Given it was only 2 months until it broke I decided to splurge a little and spend the money on a good one. Honestly idk what’s so special about it? The lighting seems like the same type of lighting on other cheaper ones, the camera mount is way too high for any normal shot that a YouTuber or streamer uses and you can’t adjust it any lower. The desk mount handle/tightener doesn’t have a slider like other mounts so if something is blocking it from turning you cant slide it to the other side, Oh and the ball hinge isn’t working so it just dropped and smashed into my monitor so that’s great. Only thing I will say is I really liked being able to adjust the lighting from my phone. I was really excited to get this but ended up very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect light source! I stream daily and since I got this product, there hasn't been a stream I haven't used it. You can adjust the light to whatever you need, whether that be a dim light, or a blinding light. You can change the temperature as well, so this is absolutely perfect for streaming / recording youtube videos. If I could have a single change, it would be to bring the light down just a little bit. Unfortunately it's just a little too tall, but I've worked my way around it. Like I said, every single time I've gone to stream, I've had the ring light on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really beautiful and well made ring light I bought this product recently and really liked the overall quality of if. Although I don't have any problem while using the ring light right now, I had three problems I faced while installing it: Major problem: - While installing, I noticed the ring light clamp is too small to attach to the back of my desk. I searched a lot on the store, but there's no bigger clamp I can buy to replace the smaller one. So make sure you check the dimensions of the product's clamp and the place where you wish to attach it. Minor problems: - Siri integration requires a paid app to be used. I think the commands to control the light should be at least accessible on Shortcuts app to enable some customization. - Phone grip is too strong/difficult to use and could hurt your fingers if you're not careful.

I received my elgato a few months ago and at first I thought it was the best ring light ever until I tried to adjust my 4K camera on the threading for the camera. A few days later, the threading would not attach any longer to the giant ring light itself! I even bought more pieces to replace and fix and every time I tried to move my camera or the ring itself, the threading would strip inside the light every time! I often come to this site to see if the piece is available but it's always sold out due to the problem being so common for everyone! So unless you have multiple back up pieces that are new for assembling the ring light to the stand then go right ahead but I tell you it's been a pain! For the price alone you would think it would stay attached to the base stand but I would rather use giant photography umbrellas and lighting and risk blowing a fuse in my place than have a giant, heavy ring light and stand that's unable to connect to each other! It literally fell off the stand as though it wasn't threaded and broke the edge of my ring light now I'm back to square one.
