Absolutely disappointing
After a few months of being mounted to my desk it starts to sag, creak and grind. Adjusting its position is very annoying because of the sag. Every movement of this arm is getting picked up on my Wave:3. Everything about this thing is the exact opposite of sturdy or premium. Very disappointed.

One of a kind, with a few of the same problems
I wish this arm came out a year ago.
Originally I owned a Rode PSA1 but some issues were that it blocked one of my monitors on my desk, it could not support my microphone, and the desk clamp only works if your desk is uniform.
First off, my desk is a metal frame with a piece of wood on top. The wood creates a lip on the desk's edge. Most mic arms have c-clamps that don't extend very deep into the desk, thus clamp on the metal edge of the frame. This is awkward and doesn't create a very reliable grip for the mic arm. The benefit of the Elgato LP is that it's c-clamp is deeper than most and does not clamp on the edge of the desk.
The biggest benefit is the Elgato's low visibility. It can easily fold away and hide beneath any monitors that are wall mounted.
The last problem is the ability to hold up a microphone. I have a Rode Procaster with a shock mount which is under the 4lb weight limit of this arm, but if I extend the Elgato LP all the way, and move the arm to a completely flat/neutral position, the arms slowly sags down to my desk. I know that there are tension screws for this reason and I have tightened them appropriately, but the issue is still there. They also state not to overtighten these screws. Fortunately I mostly angle the arm up towards my face when in use, but when I'm done and fold the arm away I can't flatten the arm out or the issue above occurs. I had this issue with the Rode PSA1 arm as well, but not as severe. This point is really my biggest issue, because if the arm actually held the weight of my microphone then this would have been a 5 star product. I think Elgato should take another estimate of the weight limit for this arm.

Most exquisite Mic Arm to date
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I'm doing about anything on my PC, one of the most irritating things is having your mic am obstruct your field of view. With this Mic Arm LP that's no longer an issue! It neatly fits underneath the screen, is versatile in its positioning and has a sleek function to hide the cable as well. If you have a very deep desk like me, you can get two of these and just attach one piece on to the other to extend it. Also worth mentioning is that it works even with a heavy microphone! Oh and no squeaking noises either.

This is exactly what I wanted.
I am not a content creator. I sought an excellent WFH setup for productivity (and gaming). I had never previously purchased a mic arm. I was torn between this and the non-LP version because I had seen a lot of videos suggesting the magnetic clips on this arm pop up frequently. I'm happy to report that, over 6 months in, these clips have not once popped up. Not once. It's slim and easily moves out of the way. I love it.

Extremely stable even with heavy microphones
Great packaging. Thank you for getting rid of plastic!!
The arm is great. Super high quality, great cable channel. Heaving the microphone hanging over your keyboard is extremely useful for streaming (no arm/microphone in front of your face). Having it so close to your keyboard however does add typing noise. (NVIDIA Broadcast AI noise cancellation to the rescue!)
Overall I'm extremly happy with the purchase.

Nearly great, but misses the mark
Tightening this enough to support the weight of an SM7b causes the plastic to rub on itself hard enough to deteriorate to the point of not being able to support anything. I see shreds of plastic every day, and at this point the mic stand cannot be used. I have had it for approximately a month, and this began after a week. The overall quality is also quite poor, and there is a lot of play and movement at all the pivot points.
The magnet latches are neat, but pop off if the cable moves. A small rotating pin to keep them securely in place would be welcomed. Grooves where the cable routes would be a welcome addition. The design is not necessarily bad, but for something that is marketed around its 'impeccable design', it misses the mark.
Other than the glaring flaws that will make me throw it away if I cannot return or RMA it, I do like the concept of this mic arm a lot. With some revisions and fixes this could be fantastic and a welcome change to the usual design of boom-style mic arms.

Alazing!
I absolutely love this! I have my wave 3 Mic on a Blue Mic boom, but the issue was the mic was just so light that the Blue boom had a hard time wanting to rise up. Well this solves that issue and works well!
