Rated 4 out of 5 by from 98% Awesome The only bad thing about it is that it doesn't lather that well, but that may be with any charcoal soap, IDK. The good is that it feels great on the skin with all those jojoba beads in it. Not long ago I got two Recluse bites on my leg. I had read that charcoal will draw out impurities and will work for insect bites and such (that's why I bought the soap in the first place). Of course I kept the bites bandaged and used an ointment, but every time I bathed I used JB charcoal soap. The bites never necrotized and cleared up in two and a half weeks. Permanent customer here of this soap.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cleaning up after cleaning up Since I haven't tried the Jack Black Charcoal Body Bar, take this for what it's worth. A few years ago I purchased another brand's black "Big Ass" bar. Smelled fine, lathered all right (though darkly), and rinsed as one would expect. But I used a loofah—my mistake—which never rinsed clean. I realize the function of the loofah was not affected, but sometimes when something doesn't look clean, it's not as aesthetically appealing. I notice this bar is nubbed and probably intended to be used as is. That would be wise. And of course I'm going to try it—just thought I'd warn people who don't want to end up with a grey loofah.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jack Black the best men's grooming products! Very good product. Cleans and exfoliates and leaves the skin feeling exceptionally nice. Doesn't lather as much as the turbo bar that I have been using. Nice fragrance, but I prefer the Turbo Bar fragrance.Every new product that Jack Black comes out with seems to be an improvement upon the previous one. All over body wash was great, but was improved upon with Turbo Wash. I find Beard Lube to be better than Supreme Cream which preceded it.I will give this new soap some more time before a final judgement. I am still using the first bar that I recently purchased.

Upon first use it felt much more coarse than any other bar that I've tried but after the first use you'll have learned comfortable pressure for use. I did expect the bar to last a little longer then it did but, when i went to re-order another one I noticed how reasonable the price was when compared to similar sized competitor (I didn't pay attention to price on first purchase as i don't let that be a factor in trying new things). Needless to say i'll keep re-ordering this bar; Great scent and feel!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just signed on to get more I never understood how the "nubs" on a bar of soap do anything for my muscles. However, I really do like the exfoliant from the ingredients. It makes me feel much cleaner than other soap options.

Highly recommended and will make this a regular purchase I highly recommend this product especially if you work outside and tend to get dirty and sweaty. I can feel the difference on my skin compared to regular body soap, my skin feels clean of the dirt grime I get from working outside compared to regular body soap and the massaging part is great for the bottoms of feet after wearing work boots all day. Definitely will make this a regular purchase! Satisfied customer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected! Really loving the new charcoal soap. I was worried it would get black stuff all over me. Not the case at all. Great, masculine scent. Entire bathroom smells great. Very rich lather that goes a long way. Leaves a feeling of clean but not drying at all. The built in scrubbers are awesome for heals and rough parts. Will definitely be ordering again. Great for travel too. Another winner at Jack Black.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Eh It smells like a generic bar of soap you'd get anywhere and it does not last long at all. The exfoliation is intense the first couple times you use it and then it stops exfoliating and becomes a regular grey bar of soap. Oh well. I guess it's hard to make a premium bar of soap anyways. I'll be sticking to the liquid body wash products.
