To freshen up my skin before I choose to wash face hours later with enzyme cleansing gel. When I get home I pour into cotton pad and wash away the dirt, grime and filth of outside world! I do not wear make up only lipstick eyeliner mascara, MB lotion, creams etcetera. This completely removes my Chanel red lipstick! My skin BREATHES during and after application. It’s as though a film as been removed and that film is visible on cotton pad, yuck who knew the air was so dirty!! Lotion doesn’t irritate my skin is NON drying it’s moisturizing! Wipe away the outside world feel fresh and reset! I also us post shower.

It's a non lather thick liquid that is best applied with a cotton round or cotton ball. It smells divine to me...very grown woman earthy scent, and I LOVE it. My child told me that I "smelled SO good" after I had just cleansed my face with this and gave them a kiss. I love this for a morning cleanse of for a mid day freshening up. I'm also African American, and this whole line tends to even out my skin tone BEAUTIFULLY...honestly, no matter what products I've used. VERY nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Growing up in the 80's/90's [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up in the 80's/90's the type of toner available was always alcohol-based. So, it would make sense to not want to ever use toner products, but the moment I knew Mario's toners don't have alcohol in them I tried using the seaweed cleansing toner. I have dry, sensitive skin and this doesn't dry my skin out. I've been using this product for years and love it. A good tip to not strip your natural oils in the morning by washing your face is to use this toner only and then proceed w moisturizer and sunscreen!

Wish it had a few less chemicals in the ingredient lineup! Also, I have mature skin so I do not use it every night and when I do - will use a wet cotton pad. I think the witch hazel and other ingredients listed might be too drying every day.

I have combination, occasionally acne prone, skin, that is also dealing with some fine lines, and I find this to be an effective and yet gentle and moisturizing toner. While I can do without the interesting color and scent, I find I do still like the scent.

It's amazing to see the dirt it gets up. The smell is pleasant -- and I am hyper-sensitive to fragrances (bad ones can trigger migraines for me). Combining this with the cellufirm mask and drops, I am definitely seeing results!

When i got this toner i had reactive skin that also would not heal from breakouts or cuts etc. This toner lifts so much dirt and makes your skin feel super fresh and soft. And guess what? It heals skin fast. Love it.

I stopped using it in the morning before work due to its hydrating properties, which added to oiliness during the day. Now i use it on days off. Has a clean herbal smell.
