Rated 5 out of 5 by from utlimune men's version is excellent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i use both the regular ultimune and this men's version. However, I have a special inclination to this men's version because of its scent. A very comforting deep manly aroma that softly lingers after i apply it. as always the ultimate is an excellent serum that hydrates and plumps my skin before i apply my moisturizer, which is usually the cle de peau la creme. when it's too hot and humid, then i only use the ultimune without any moisturizer on top, and it keeps my skin well hydrated and moisturized without being sticky and muggy despite the humidity. come winter i plan to layer it with the enmei cream.

Ultimune is a flagship serum that reflects Shiseido's heritage: Cutting-edge science and years of research. The serum targets Langerhans cells-immune cells in the skin responsible for maintaining our skin's resilience against environmental aggressors. Langerhans cells decrease as we age, weakening our skin's ability to protect and regenerate itself. Ultimune's formula is designed to stimulate the production and activity of Langerhans cells at the cellular level. The result is enhanced skin defense and improved regeneration. A small amount of Ultimune goes a long way. I am eager to buy (again) Ultimune's complementary eye-care version.
