Rated 1 out of 5 by from Long-Time User Disappointed by New Formula I have been a loyal customer of this deodorant for over 10 years, Unfortunately, the recent reformulation has been disappointing and problematic. It now contains more synthetic ingredients and fewer natural extracts, I've experienced rashes and irritation. The previous version's inclusion of natural extracts like chamomile (Chamomilla Recutita Matricaria), yarrow (Achillea Millefolium), acai (Euterpe Oleracea), and plum oil (Prunus Domestica) worked wonderfully for my skin, but these have now been removed. Instead, the new formula relies on cheaper synthetic alternatives that have caused discomfort and skin issues. It's clear that the company has taken a cheaper route with these changes, compromising the quality of the product. Natural Ingredients Removed: • Chamomile Extract (Chamomilla Recutita Matricaria): Known for its soothing properties. • Yarrow Extract (Achillea Millefolium): Helps in calming and healing the skin. • Acai Extract (Euterpe Oleracea): Rich in antioxidants and skin-conditioning benefits. • Plum Oil (Prunus Domestica): Moisturizes and nourishes the skin. • Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia): Known for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. • Seabuckthorn (Hippophae Rhamnoides): Provides nourishing and regenerative benefits to the skin. Synthetic Ingredients Added: • Phenoxyethanol: A synthetic preservative that can be irritating. • BHT (Butylated Hydroxytoluene): An antioxidant that can cause skin irritation. • PPG-3 Myristyl Ether: A synthetic skin-conditioning agent that some people might find irritating. • Benzyl Alcohol: A synthetic preservative and solvent, often associated with irritation. • Benzyl Benzoate: A synthetic fragrance ingredient that can be an allergen. • Linalool, Limonene, Citral, Citronellol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxycitronellal, Geraniol, Eugenol: Synthetic fragrance components known to cause irritation and allergic reactions in sensitive skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changer I got tired of conventional deodorants and was looking for an alternative that didn't monitor my body heat or anything like that because I felt that was a natural process that shouldn't be restrained. I tried dozens of high end cologne brand deodorants w/ mixed results. Apprehensive toward musk scent and slightly cautious of the citrus herbal musk body wash scent, I gave it a try. GQ award and all, I love it. Had previously purchased an award winning face wash and it actually gave me acne. GQ got it right. This stuff is magnificent. Just wish you'd re-stock the body moisturizer in the citrus herbal musk scent as it is a new obsession.

The front now only features the words ‘alcohol free’ I feel so scammed. It doesn’t even smell the same. I’ve been using this deodorant exclusively for the last seven years. Now I’m probably going to have to find something else

The herbal ingredients that were gentle on sensitive skin drew me in, and kept me as a customer. No longer. After the reformula, my pits immediately break out stinging, red, and irritated within minutes of application. Total fail AVOID

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Great I Buy It In Bulk [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product for four years now consistently after searching and trying other brands. Baxter's deodorant has a fresh light musk scent and it's lack of aluminum immediately sold me. The price is comparable to similar products from other brands and this was one of the few brands I found that didn't give me some sort of rash. I moved abroad recently to Montevideo, Uruguay and brought a large stash before leaving. One container lasts me about a month to two months depending on the weather. I'm slowly reaching the end of my stash and will be having my family ship me some more soon.

The last year or so I’ve noticed it has not been effective at all, and recently learned the ingredient formula has changed. I am so bummed to have to start looking for a different brand.
