Rated 1 out of 5 by from I very sadly say, I am no longer a customer Much like everyone else's recent reviews, this is very sad. I got this soap from a Birchbox subscription years ago and couldn't believe how well I smelt. Usually you dont smell yourself as you are walking around but I was hit with a beautiful woodsy scent hours after my shower and my coworkers noticed too. More recently, the bars just dont leave the same smell. Actually, they dont leave any smell! The bars seem to disappear at almost twice the rate as the original bars did too. They are still one of the best exfoliating bars out there but until they go back to the original formula, I will not be buying any other products....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ingredients Must Have Changed I’ve been using the Cedarwood exfoliating soap for 3+ years. I started noticing a few months ago that the bars seemed to be coming with less and less fragrance. I originally thought this was just an exception but I’m now convinced the product has indeed been changed which sadly will stop me from ordering it. Reading other reviews suggest this is not an isolated problem and I would hope Baxters will do something about. It’s really too bad because I loved the oriybars and fragrance.

It is perfect for all skin types and the cedarwood and oakmoss essence is superb in relation to any other exfoliating body bar I have used to date. It contains all-natural paraben-free ingredients and truly nourishes your skin to leave your skin feeling smooth, clean, and refreshed. This cleanser can even be used to wash your face as well, when combined with Baxter's oil-free moisturizer. This combination is now my go-to skin regimen. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great, unpleasant fragrance This was my first exfoliating body bar. I usually use a regular exfoliator on my body where I feel that I need to. I do think the bar does a good job and has an aggressive texture to rid of dead skin, but I am not a fan of the scent. Strangely, prior to usage, I liked the smell it was leaving in my bathroom, but after using it I smell like I am using a bar of cheap drug store soap. I really wish the scent smelled more masculine and had a designer-like resemblance. I will continue to use the bar if I am showering after a workout and not going anywhere after so I don't have to worry about the fragrance. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the exfoliation with a really great scent This exfoliating bar is fantastic and emits a nice masculine smell that doesn't get bothersome at all. The size of the exfoliants is perfect for a guys skin - not too small but also not to aggressive. I wish the actual bar didn't diminish so quickly, especially given the price point, but if it is used a couple times a week (technically you shouldn't use it every day anyway), it will last you a few weeks for sure. Overall a really superior exfoliating bar, with a nice sud, and a good purchase, especially on the convenient auto replen Baxter has on site. I received this product complimentary in a VoxBox in exchange for honest usage and review, in which I considered the value against the retail price point.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fell less than my expectations I'm very picky about my skincare, and don't accept less than the best. Unfortunately this did fall below my expectation. Opening the packaging, the scent was very pleasant, and was definitely something that I would appreciate using regularly. After using it though, I decided that it was not for me. The product did not exfoliate very fell, and it left my skin feeling incredibly dry and itchy afterwords. I had to use a lotion afterwords to get my skin back to normal. I do have sensitive skin, so that may have had something to do with it. This review was sponsored, but honest.
