Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good face scrub [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this voxbox free from influenster to try. Overall, I enjoyed using this face scrub. It smelled sweet and refreshing like a lemon jelly filled donut and the sugary texture of the scrub matched. It was fun to use and made my skin feel refreshed immediately. I liked that it has actives in it, but you might want to use it with caution of you're already using other actives in your routine. I also liked that it seemed like a sugar based scrub I don't want to use products with plastic. I don't think it immediately softened my skin as much as my current favorite exfoliant (Dr. Brandt).

My favorite scrub was discontinued and ever since I have been searching near and far looking for a scrub that had both physical and chemical exfoliating properties but also worked for my finicky skin. Alot of chemical exfoliants are too harsh on my skin and alot of physical exfoliants were too gentle on my skin. I couldn't find anything with a perfect in between, until I was gifted this lemonade smoothing scrub by influenster for testing purposes. I have officially found my new holy grail exfoliator! 90% of my skincare routine is by Ole Henriksen, so when I was gifted this scrub I was excited to give it a shot and it did NOT disappoint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tend to shy away from physical exfoliants after being scared off of them by all of the "Why chemical exfoliants are the way to go" articles. This changed my mind! I was apprehensive at first as it seemed rather abrasive and my skin was RED but within 5 minutes of washing it off I had the softest matte-finish skin I've ever seen! This stuff literally buffs away the winter. It smells so fresh and citrus-y and had me craving a lemonade slush. I knocked one star off upon seeing the price as I feel for a face scrub it's a bit much (I received this product for free via Influenster).

It smells really good like a lemon cake or lemon meringue pie which is just such a unique smell for a skin care product. It scrubs really well, it's got very fine crystals that exfoliate your skin and leave it feeling clean and refreshed. It's also really easy to rinse off which is something that really bothers me with other scrubs how it takes so long to get them off of your skin. This scrub can be washed off really easily. I have oily and acne prone skin and this didn't make me break out at all and didn't cause any irritation. Definitely a good addition to my skin care routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to receive this complimentary from an Influenster VoxBox campaign and OMG, it quickly became one of the perfect discoveries to start this year. I use it 2-3 times per week and I truly look forward to those days, most of the time I leave it on for about 3 minutes, and truly, I like everything about this scrub. Its texture is creamy and easy to apply, the smell is so good that comforts me every time and the best part is how my skin feels after each use. It feels so smooth and looks super fresh, which is very much needed during wintertime in NYC. It is now a staple in my skincare repertoire!

I saw so many individuals raving about and finally decided to purchase it. I gave it 4 stars because I honestly don't feel that fresh face feeling once I've rinsed the product off like I have with some drug store products. It does do its job at cleaning the skin but just doesn't have that “it” factor making it something I would recommend in a heartbeat to family or friends. The smell is good as it reminds me of lemon meringue pie. Would I repurchase this product again? No, definitely not. Not worth it to me.

It's easy to use when I take a shower so there's really no extra steps or long skin regimens. I love that it is free of parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, sulfates SLS & SLES, triclocarban, triclosan, and contains less than one percent synthetic fragrance. And bonus it is also vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free! You can't go wrong with this product! The price point is excellent as well! This was a complimentary product.

It made my skin look and feel so clean, soft, and have me a more even skin tone/texture. And the lemonade smell is so good!! It's not overwhelming at all. I use this a few times a week and sometimes I scrub and rinse and other times I leave on for 5 minutes like a mask and let the AHA's do their magic. The exfoliates I feel like are a little intense so you have to be careful to not scrub to hard but otherwise this is a great scrub and I definitely would but this again. I received this product for free for my honest review and experience:)
