The scent is as described; light and fruity with well-balanced sweet notes of plum and currant which is light which to burn with other scents to create a more complex fragrance, but the scent throw on this is poor. Whether that is due to its lightly fragrant profile or the fact that I have the mini tin candle and perhaps a larger candle or diffuser would increase the intensity, but I was saddened to find that I have to nearly hover above the candle to smell it. This mini candle size might be a good idea for a smaller space, like a bathroom, or for those who don't prefer very strong scents.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect addition to a gift Japanese plum bloom is one of my favorite sense out of the whole line. Every voluspa scent I’ve tried is the perfect amount of scent and not too overpowering like some candles i used to use years ago by other brands. I love the mini tins because I like to add them to gifts included with a cute box of matches.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smells good but dissatisfied Ok i got the mini tin to test this sent out and, I really like the smell but the candle was not melting properly. I cut the wick as told and let the candle melt all the way but it ended up with a bunch of wax on the sides of the tin. When I tried to fix it the wick would not light anymore. Kinda disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely!! This is a wonderful scent, of soft, fruity plum notes, while not being overbearing. Another wonderful Voluspa candle! I also love that these candles are a coconut wax blend and free of harmful chemicals, which does not give me headaches, so that's a big plus for me!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smells great but flame almost disappears This candle smells great initially, but the flame slowly dies out about 30 minutes into burning it so I have to blow it it out then restart when the wax solidifies again.
