I Live in a log cabin and it has become the "log cabin smell", as my friends and family say! It has a wonderful gardenia smell, but so different than any other i've had. Somehow, it transcends time. It doesn't have that "new candle"odor, it feels ancient and mystical, like it has always been here. It's my signature scent, it burns clean and last a long time!

However, I have other brands of 3 wick candles that I love because I can smell them when I walk into my largest room (kitchen/family room). The Volupsa candles smell great, but I can only smell them when I'm standing right next to them. They don't put off as big of a scent as other brands ice tried

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Strong but odd fragrance with NO floral accents I purchased this about 3 months ago and finally opened it this weekend. When this burns, it doesn't smell like Gardenia at all. It has an arrid, very strong smell like a generic room air freshener typically found in bathroom products. There are no floral notes whatsoever, nothing natural in the fragrance. Maybe I got a bad candle considering all of the other rave reviews.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mild fragrance, not true gardenia I'm disappointed in the fragrance of the candle. It kind of smells like gardenia but not a true representation. It's more of a mild, general floral. Nothing distinctive to identify it to gardenia. I purchased two different sizes of candles and it's the same thing. Definitely will not get this one again

The candle itself is beautiful and is a must added accessory to your home. The best part is that you definitely get your money's worth. Burns for a very long time.

What I love about volupsa is most candles when there not lit smell good but then you light them and they just smell like a flamed wick burning, but volupsa is the only candle that when you light them they smell just like the fragrance they are. Love your candles!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wanted to love them ..: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells great but when fully lit do not move it because warm wax will go everywhere especially all over the tin itself. Lovely candles- somewhat overpriced and smaller than they look on the website.
