Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lasts All Day [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love quality Parfums and I expect them to last all day, and this La Panthere lasts all day long. As for the scent, it isn't my favorite. It is very masculine and I just prefer sweet and warm scents, this isn't sweet at all. It reminds me of walking into a luxury men's department store at closing time, in a good way. For me personally, it isn't my taste. However, the quality is fantastic and it lasts. This is not particularly warm, not sweet, but it is a unique blend of fragrance. It almost has a spiciness that is familiar, yet difficult to place. If you love the scent, this is a great investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I want to preface this by saying that I‘ve become sensitive to scents within the past few years. Certain perfumes give me awful headaches that do not let up until the scent is completely eliminated from my skin or the surrounding area. I’m so excited to report that La Panthere did not bother me at all! It is light, floral, but also a bit fruity; I was initially worried that this might be a more “mature” or powdery scent, but it wasn’t at all. It also lasted on my skin for HOURS, which is a feature that’s hard to find in modern perfumes. Love it and will definitely purchase this one again in the future.

It gives rich lady who has a favorite salesgirl at Bergdorf’s, who goes to tea at least once a week, and whose house always has fresh flowers. I don’t get much fruit on the nose - I get heavy on the oak moss, musk, and powder, with some of the gardenia. It smells totally different on a paper tester than the skin - on the tester I got less depth. The scent doesn’t project much but lasts a pretty long time. It’s not a modern or fresh scent, but it’s a timeless scent - I would except nothing less from Cartier!!

It is very strong when first applied and not in an alcohol-y way like some perfumes are that dissipates after a few minutes. It was the perfume itself. The scent was very strong, and very masculine. I, personally, didn’t get any gardenia or otherwise out of it but it came off rather musky to me. It lingered on my skin for a long time, so it does have staying power if it is a scent you find you like but it just wasn’t a match for me. I’m unsure if it’s just too mature a scent or not my style but I didn’t like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smells heavenly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fragrance is elegant, effervescent, and graceful with floral notes of rose--fruity notes of rhubarb and apricot--woody and earthy notes of patchouli and oakmoss that uplifts its composition to a floral-fruity-chypre accord. I get faint echo floral notes of New Chloe; but not as floral forward as New Chloe. Cartier is a bit more fruity forward. And, I love its sensuality! I would wear this for special evenings over dinner and champagne. It is more distinctively and redolently worn in Fall/Winter where the fragrance reaches its best performance peak

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It definitely smells [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this perfume when I saw that it had floral notes of gardenia (gardenia is my favorite smell). However, I did not get that smell when I tried it on. I smelled like your rich, eccentric aunt that has too many cats and dangles her inheritance over your head. I will say, the scent does stay for awhile, so this perfume has good lasting power. It just wasn’t for me, but don’t let this review deter you from giving it a chance for yourself; I just suggest trying it first to see if you like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy night out on the town [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this parfum complementary in exchange for my honest review. Immediately upon smelling this fragrance, I was reminded of my moms holy grail fragrance, No 7 by a brand that starts with a G, it's no longer available but this fragrance is seriously close. When first sprayed, it smells very spicy but once it dries down you really smell that incredible floral gardenia scent. It's so feminine and it's my go to scent for a night out. It isn't my husband's favorite but he isn't fond of overt floral scents so I wasn't surprised. This is a unique luxury scent so you will be hard pressed to run into someone with this one on. I recommend this to anyone who likes spicy floral scents, it's a keeper.

It's a feminine perfume that is a little bit on the spicy side. I have to agree I really love this scent. It stays on really long and literally. I sprayed once in the morning and then I can even smell it when I come home at night. It is extremely luxurious and it doesn't smell cheap at all. It is made with amazing quality ingredients and you can actually smell the luxury. It leaves a nice residue that I love and highly recommend.
