Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look no further, especially if you have wavy hair I don't usually leave reviews but this is such an awesome product that I think will help out a lot of people. The clay pomade has a nice, strong hold but doesn't feel crunchy. It's really easy to apply and style, and the matte finish is perfect for people who have wavy hair (the more shine you have on wavy hair, the more your hair just looks wet). The pomade also lasts relatively long. I really enjoy this pomade and think anybody who's in the market for some should try this, especially if you have wavy hair. I cannot stress that enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Stuff Out There I've used all kinds of products, most recently Billy Jealousy Styling Mud.My hair is straight and thick, cut shorter and textured. I like a more natural look that keeps my hair in place but allows for me to piece it out.This product is excellent, best stuff I've ever used. You can still run your fingers through and put it back in place. Very small amount goes a long long way. It's a no fuss product that delivers on demand. Just another reason I swear by Jack Black products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Hold. I use tons of JB products for skin. I have for many years. Thought I would try the pomade for the hair. It smells great as expected but the hold is atrociously poor and it leaves quite a bit of sticky residue in your hair. There are strong hold products out there with little to no residue that use good ingredients and hold much better. I used very little of this and planned on returning it, but never got around to it. I got it about a year or two ago so I am not sure if they have updated their formula at all. still have the stuff around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pomade! This clay pomade works really well in my thick wavy hair. I have tried many pomades, and this has been the best by far! Also nice that it doesn't really have a scent as another brand I tried had an extremely overpowering scent that lasted all day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hold - Fuller Looking Hair I'd been using KMS Hair Play products for a couple of years and had been really happy with them. I decided to try the Clay Pomade simply because I like Jack Black products and was surprised at how much I like it. It's easier to work into my hair, it holds at least as strong, and my wife and I both think it's helped my slightly thinning hair look fuller. It's my favorite hair product I've found in years and I'll definitely continue using it.

I've been growing mine out for about a year, and I think the clay-nature doesn't work as well as the other beeswax pomade I have. I'm keeping it around and looking forward to using it whenever I decide to cut my hair again.
