Rated 5 out of 5 by from Revitalizes red hair, adds depth to natural brown shades [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My natural hair color is medium/dark brown (between a 5-6). I used the Chic Copper Shade Variation mask when my hair was died red, and I was really impressed. The mask helps to maintain red shades without adding true red tones (like many other gloss products). After a couple of years, I'm back to my natural color, which has golden and copper undertones. The Chic Copper mask helps to draw out those tones and add depth to my hair, keeping the color rich instead of flat - I haven't needed to go to the salon for a gloss/touch-up! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shade Variation Mask Chic Copper So I love the product....it is super moisturizing and definitely brightens my naturally red hair that has gotten a bit duller and strawberry over the years. However, I do need to keep this on for at least 45 minutes and I would love if this adds a little more coverage to grey and more color. As context I used to mix the JF Lazartigue deep red color reflecting conditioner with my own conditioner and could leave in for 5 to 10 minutes with more saturation. However still a super positive review for this product and will by again.

This shade variation mask is great for re-injecting that colour boost and dose of vibrancy. In comparison to other similar products I've tried, I find it really nourishes and conditions my fine hair - without weighing it down and brings out the different tones of red rather than making it one flat hue. This has been my saviour during lockdown with not being able to to go to the hair salon, but I will continue to purchase it even after lockdown as my colour is definitely lasting longer using this - as well as for the conditioning properties it imparts. I have already recommended it to ends and family members as it comes in various shades. It's the best I've found in terms of colour boosting with the added bonus of nourishing and glossing. Win win!

I didn't find it very moisturising at all though. I found it dried my hair out quite a bit, possibly because of my hair type? It smells lovely, the product packaging is appealing as it looks expensive, although a little difficult to open when you have wet hands!

But my salt & pepper hair makes me look so tired! I tried this today, and I am so pleased. My hair has new depth and, since it doesn't completely cover the gray, my hair still looks natural. The new life in my hair gives me a less tired look. Thank you for this!
