Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hipster nonsense It takes me at least three times as long (shaving carefully, according to instructions and demos) and I still feel prickly and unshaven afterwards--even with multiple passes/directions. I can *hear* and *feel* that I'm shaving (and have a couple of nicks to show for it), but I think if I did the math more carefully to factor in my valuable time, this method isn't going to save me much money. I bought into the idea that shaving like my grandfather did would be better, but if he were alive today, he'd be using a multi-blade cartridge because it's quicker, easier, and it gives a closer shave. It also might be the paper-thin blades that keep this from being a more authentic throw-back experience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chrome Coating Peels Off I've been using the razor for less than 6 months and the coating has already begun to peel off. It's been a nuisance with shaving, since the peeling bits get caught in with the razor, requiring more frequent unscrewing and cleaning of the head. Hope coating can be improved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best razor I could see myself using this razor until the end of my time. Replacement razors are very cheap and can always have sharp, new ones ready. The razor base is very heavy which is great. Skin irritation afterwards has been much better compared to my old routine
