Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sheer blush [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this in a gift pack for spending over X amount, as a deluxe sample. I'm not sure if I just got a bad one, since the reviews I've seen online have been pretty good, but the colour payoff is minimal. I need to do at least 10 finger swipes to get colour to show up on my finger, and even then it's quite sheer. Not the type of blush I like (as an olive toned person) but I imagine it would be a nice flush of colour for those with fair skin tones.

They glide onto my skin effortlessly, as well as giving a nice light colour that is able to be built up. The colour lasts all day, with absolutely NO fading! The packaging is gorgeous, and the brush is fantastic. It's definitely worth every cent!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Romantic Rose and Blushing Pink [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought an Elizabeth Arden cosmetics package which included two eyeshadow palettes and two shades of blush. I assume that the formula of the blushes in the palettes is the same as the individual compacts. The shades of blush are: ROMANTIC ROSE: This is a subtle pink blush with a cool undertone. This shade had a poor colour payoff when I applied it with a soft and fluffy brush. I found it better to apply the blush with a firm brush. I have pale skin and I prefer a subtle hint of colour on my cheeks, so I didn't mind the poor pigmentation. I was able to build up the colour without it looking intense. Out of the two shades in the palettes, I preferred Romantic Rose for my complexion. BLUSHING PINK: This shade is similar to Romantic Rose, but it has a warm undertone and a slightly stronger colour payoff. I preferred to apply this shade with a fluffy brush so that I could create a subtle look. If I applied this shade with a firm brush, it had too much orange in it. Having said that, this warm-toned blush looked better with my complexion compared to many other warm-toned blushes that I've tried. I have mature skin, and both blushes had a smooth finish and they did not accentuate the larger pores on my cheeks.
