Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy grail liquid liner! I recently decided to make the switch from pencil to liquid, and knew it would take some practice, since I have monolid hooded eyelids. I started out with my favorite drugstore brand for cosmetics, and I was happy despite some smudging, but took it to be inevitable with the kind of eyes I have. Well, Maximist proved me wrong! It doesn't smudge at all, even after hours, despite the ways my eyes are shaped, and it is easy to apply with an excellent tip, super smooth application, and easy removal despite its long wear. Drugstore option might save me a few $ but I'll pay for Maximist not to have lopsided, half-faded liner at the end of the day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean ingredients - Ok performance - best among clean products [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a liquid eyeliner with clean ingredients. It is so hard to find a products without Black 2 and phenoxyethanol. Even those advertised as clean often contain one of these two if not both ingredients. I was able to find four after extensive search. Among these four, BareMineral Maximist has the best performance. The color is intense, but usually I can’t draw the line with one stroke. The ink will fade after 2/3 of the line is drawn. It’s also a little flaky at the end of the day. I have used other liquid eyeliners that performed better, but they aren’t clean. So I’ll keep purchasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This liner is magic! LITERALLY this eyeliner is my new top favorite! I love that the tip is small and how the handle is made because it makes it easy to hold and glide for easy application without me having to worry about it getting all over my eyelid. I wore this stuff for a 2 mile fun run race where I wore full makeup and dressed up with friends and this eyeliner stayed put through the race and throughout the rest of the day during a arts and crafts festival out in the sun and elements all day. When I got home 12 hours after application that morning the eyeliner was STILL PERFECT! Will definitely be rebuying this every time from now on! If you love a liquid liner you will love this!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a favorite I received this eyeliner as a free sample in exchange for my honest review. Unfortunately, I just didn't love it. I like a thinner line when I wear eye liner and this was too thick for me. It also didn't wear well through out the day which was a bummer because I don't want to have to touch up eyeliner. My favorite liner is Stila Stay All Day so when using this product, I compared it to the Stila liner (for frame of reference). It just didn't match up and I wouldn't be able to recommend it. However, I will say that I love that it promotes thicker lashes and conditions them. I wish more liners did that!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great for thicker lines This eyeliner took some getting used to. If you don't take your time, it can get all over your eyelashes and make a big mess. Once I got used to it, I found that it worked best and easiest for creating thick edges at the outer corners of my eyes. I definitely have to be careful if I want a thin line and make sure I just use the tip of the brush. However, the brush does work for both thick and thin lines, as it has a good point to it. As to the formula, I found it to be pretty smudgeproof and only just a little dry. It's a bit odd when you wash it off though because it kind of comes off in chunks. However, I like the brush and formula of this liner better than the last liquid eyeliner I bought.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winged eyeliner to the MAX This eyeliner is the perfect eyeliner to pair with the bareminerals maximist mascara! I have been a huge fan of bareminerals for such a long time because of their incredible message and (of course!) incredible products! And this eyeliner is no different! It glides on beautifully, doesn't flake, and lasts all day long! I haven't used it long enough to notice how it has affected my eyelash growth but as someone that suffers with Trichotillomania having a quality eyeliner that supports eyelash growth rather than simply hiding any bald spots on my lash line is something I'm so excited about!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it!! I received this free for my honest review. I am usually not a huge liquid eye liner fan for every day wear, only special occasions, but this one has converted me! It takes me so much less time! I work 10 hour days in the medical field and I NEED to tell this eyeliner DID NOT budge! It goes on smooth and crisp, no half lines or drag marks. The tip is the perfect length and width. I am obsessed! It doesn't smudge! I wear glasses and rub my eyes a lot, none on my face or finger. And another great feature- it washes off like a dream!! No next day residue. Please try this!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fan I unfortunately am not a fan of the new liquid liner. As a woman in my late 40s I find that the brush concept is really hard to put on without either overdoing it or under doing it because I can't see well enough up close to get it right. I've also recently found the liner flaking off a couple hours after I put it on. At first I thought it was my mascara but today I noticed flakes under my eyes and on my eye lid and part of the liner was completely missing. I use BareMinerals for all of my make up but unfortunately will have to go buy something else to replace this.
