Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Texture Not sure what is in this stuff, but my lips are plumper! I have a hard time finding a vibrant red that doesn't turn orange or overpower my light skin (light skin, brown eyes, light hair). For that reason, I tend to go with deeper maroon shades with brown undertones, but I'm in my 50's and feel like I need a bit of brightening, sometimes. This color is bright, but beautiful. It is definitely a show stopper, and if I don't have much else on my face in the daytime, I'll wear it. Will also wear it for a night out, but due to covid, haven't had one of those in awhile! Texture is satiny and soft, but not too much so. I can get away with no lipliner -- no bleeding. Love it!

I’ve been dying to get this one for ages but since I have red carpet red, love bite and Charlotte’s hw lips in screen siren and walk of shame I thought I couldn’t justify another red. But I’m so glad I did. This one is a sultry sexy deep red (but it’s still red not burgundy) and the kissing formula is so flattering. I’m half Indian nc35 skintone but I reckon this red would look good on everyone. It makes you want to get a Marylin skirt and stand over a fan and pout!!!! Love love love xxxx pictures with red vixen lip lustre over the top

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Red Ever I have always loved a classic red lip however finding one that is a true red, without a pink tone or an orange tone has been a lifelong job and once i have found one that is acceptable, the formula has been drying or faded and I’ve given up and wasted a ton of money. This one is absolutely perfect....the color is a true red, does not fade, is not drying and stays on all day!! I will be devestated if this ever goes away!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a Marilyn Red The pictures online all show a bright true red. However the one I received is a dull brick red. For as expensive as the lipstick is, the actual lipstick should be true to the description listed and the pictures shown. I understand that pictures can look different online, but brick red is far from a true red, and not what one thinks as “so Marilyn”. Especially when another company makes a true replica of an actual red that Marilyn wore with a similar vanilla scent, better staying power, and cost significantly less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Marilyn Loved it! Have never tried a red lipstick before so bought this hoping it would work for me.... I really loved the colour! Not an everyday option in my opinion, more for a night out but I don’t really wear bright lipsticks so that is probably why. I do think this colour needs the lipliner so that will be my next purchase. Go for it! I was pleasantly surprised.
