Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luxurious colour, Innovative design [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great lipstick. The packaging is elegant black and gold. The tube is slimmer and longer than other YSL lipstick, making it stand out from the crowd. The colour is rich and highly pigmented . It glides effortlessly onto lips giving a luxurious feel. I've tried Matt lipstick before and they have felt drying on the lips, this one felt creamy and comfortable.The unique shape of the lipstick bullet makes defining the edges of my lips so easy, adding to the overall polished finish. The colour was long lasting and my lips felt hydrated throughout the day .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this in no 11, Ambiguous Beige which is a lovely neutral rosy-nude colour, very flattering for all complexions. The cuboid shaped bullet is very ergonomic and luxurious to boot. Upon application I realised it was so easy to define my lips with this lipstick even without a lip liner because of its unique shape. The consistency is velvety and feels so smooth, it's a pleasure to use. The finish is exactly what it advertises as a 'leather look matte', very on trend and lasts a very long time, I only reapplied once during a night out as it so pigmented.

The product itself looks stylish and has the quality ysl finish! beautiful matte intense colour, that’s long lasting. The slim product, is perfect for slipping into your handbag for a night out! I would recommend this for an evening out, as the matte intense colour is too vibrant for a day in the office. I’ll be trying the more neutral colours for everyday use, now that I’ve found my colour for the special occasions. And the square shape is surprisingly easy for application and gives a beautiful finish.

The lipstick was encased in beautiful gold and black, very chic. The lipstick was slim and shaped in a square bullet, how original and true to its name . This innovative design allowed me to apply the lipstick in a more controlled manner and shape my lips with ease, what genius. The lipstick itself had a lovely delicate scent and applied beautifully matt. I was given the shade number 11 ambiguous beige a really nice pinky nude. A lovely addition to my autumn makeup collection. Thank you YSL.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long Lasting [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the long, slim and sleek packaging. Lovely change from the normal lipstick case. The lipstick itself is diamond shaped. This helps to accentuate the cupids bow. However, because of the shape, I found it more difficult to get my lower lips right without going over the lip line. I needed a lot more practice before getting it right. The colour was long lasting and lasted a lot longer than my normal lipstick. Personally, I was not too keen on the matte finish. I prefer lipsticks with a bit of a sheen to it. I also found it to be quite drying on the lips if I did not apply a lip balm before using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Velvety texture [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful lipstick it realy is like a velvety leather on your lips it glides on and the diamond shape tip makes it really easy and prescice to apply however I would still recommend a lip liner to line your lips first for a perfect finish. I tried the colour contrary fuchsia i have dark brown hair and medium skintone at first I thought it was to bright and daring for me but the colour realy grew on me now I love it for a night out glam look. It's also very long lasting I have already checked out the other shades definatly going to treat myself to one of the nude shades they are fab ! .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a great fan if matt lipsticks....more of a glossy girl....but.....this takes the lead! I was totally blown away with this. I have tried other matts from varoius top companies on my old, thin , lips but were left feeling dry and looking quite liney and aged! Not what I want. This...amazingly, felt instant moisture, pure' velvet' and MOSTLY, my lips looked plumper!! That was a bonus. Now, I did not expect that! The colour wasnt too bold, it looked like 'velvet' and felt the same. This is a big definate buy. Never have I tried a matt like it. Go on.... Treat yourself!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On Trend Matte Lipstick [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic product, received No.10, Coral, which is more red in tone with a hint of coral. A really luxurious, quality lipstick with great longevity, can wear all day without any fade. The unique bullet shape of the lipstick allows precise application, although I found I still needed a lip liner. The highly pigmented colour glides on with ease and as advertised gives an on trend matte finish. So slim, fits neatly in your bag. As always from YSL, elegant design oozing sophistication with packaging to match. Can highly recommend.
