Rated 4 out of 5 by from creamy matte lip stick i absolutely love this lipstick. i have tried so many different kinds of mattes, and they all dry my lips out like the sahara. this is the only lipstick i've tried that keeps my lips feeling hydrated and creamy the entire time it's on, and it wipes right off with makeup remover etc. it doesn't stick like concrete to lips. the only reason i'm marking down a star is because i still haven't found a nude shade that i love. i am liking bullet train, i bought j pop online and it's a little too pink for me but now i can't return it :/ so the fact that it's too hard to tell the color on the website is only reason i docked a star.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glides on so Smooth LOVE this! You need to apply this on yourself. The gel base glides on soooo smooth. If matte lipsticks are too dry for you this is the perfect product. It feels moisturizing. And the packaging is minimalist and so cute. If you ever want to add extra shine to it, apply the Shiseido Clear Gloss. Favorite Colors so far : 222 Ginza Red and 208 Streaming Mauve

I really liked the color but was surprised at the consistency and application of the lipstick. No matter how I tried to apply, the color went on patchy, like heavy in one area and nice in another. I even used lip primer but could not get this to apply evenly. I use lip masks and balms every day and night so it wasn't because my lips were dry and patchy Now, this is a gorgeous lipstick and because of the Shiseido quality and the other highly rated reviews, I'm giving four stars. Evidently the problem was all me and not the lipstick. I did return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful coverage Ginza red is a gorgeous, brick color. The texture is so airy and smooth. Glides on and lasts through lunch. I loved rouge rouge too but I think this is a definite improvement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dislike this Product, Terrible How this product gets any good reviews is beyond me. The colors are garish. Even Bullet Train which I thought would be subtle isn't. All Matte without any shimmer or gloss. Heavy pasty looking on. Why would I want to buy another product of gloss to put over this to get the finish I want for double the cost?! The Veiled Rouge lipstick did both beautifully and you've discontinued it! What a gorgeous lip product that was. Lightweight on, shimmer/gloss, lasting, slim packaging, great color choices. I'm trying to locate any of these on the secondary marketplace.
