A plant-based brush features dual reservoirs to build maximum fullness.Photos are taken with an iPhone 13 Pro.I have worn this mascara on multiple occasions since receiving it to test. It removes easily with a gentle makeup remover, and I did not experience any running or flaking throughout the day. If you're looking for a new volumizing mascara to try, I'd recommend this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Clumpy and Big [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not care for the MAXIMIST at all. When I brought the “dipper” with brush out of the container, there were huge clumps. I had to clean off the brush, only to find that it had a lot of mascara intertwined in the brushes, making it difficult to clean. Finally, I dipped the brush back in the container, only to get more clumps. I tried applying some mascara on to my eyelashes, but the brush had too much mascara on it and made my eyelashes stick together, plus it got all over my skin. My eyes are very sensitive and getting mascara in my eyes was not a good or pleasant thing to experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overall I am a bit of a mascara snob. I have tried many brands from drugstore to high end. I typically know when I'm going to like a mascara within the first few uses. For this mascara in particular I found the brush to not be my favorite. While the formula of the mascara does give volume to the lashes I felt like the thickness of the brush made the mascara clump on my lashes, especially my bottom ones. So I had to remove some of the mascara against the tube the more I've continued using it. It's not my favorite but it's also not the worst. Besides the brush not being my favorite the formula of the mascara is good. I think it's all just personal preference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! I am not usually a fan of Bareminerals products. I am also a little mascara obsessed and I have tried almost every one out there. When I received the mascara and I opened it up I thought that the formula was clumpy on the brush which concerned me but I want to head and cleaned up the excess product and then apply the mascara to my lashes. I was amazed by with just one coat how my lashes looked. My lashes were longer, had more volume, were not clumpy, overall looked amazing. As I wore the mascara through the day I noticed that it did not sponge or flake and when I wash my face it comes off easily. I am obsessed with this mascara!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Holy Grail of Mascaras I was gifted by bareMinerals Maximist Phyto-Fiber Volumizing Mascara and I am giving my honest opinion/review. I have the "Maximum Black" and I am incredibly impressed with the results. I had more volume than any other mascara which I think is due to the brush and overall formula. This mascara has orange peel fibers for instant maxed out volume to help visibly make your lashes thicker over time. It was easy to remove with micellar water and a cotton round. No lashes came off with removal. Overall, this mascara gave my lashes a healthier and volumized look. I plan to buy this before I run out. I highly recommend giving this mascara a try, you would be disappointed!

First off, The packaging is made with post-consumer recycled plastic and the brush is a plant-based brush made with upcycled Orange Peel. Love it. This Mascara is Vegan, Cruelty-free, fragrance and gluten free.I really like this formula so far, it is both waterproof and smudge resistant.The brush is on the larger size and It only takes one good coat for full, volumized lashes. I still use two and it gives great length too. It lasts well and seems to be gentle on my eyes. So far it seems to wash off pretty easy too. I'm very happy with it. It's great to have a options with companies who are earth conscious too. Definitely recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Voluminous Lashes Im neutral on this mascara. I like that it glides and coats lashes easily and Its also buildable. . If you want thick lashes with volume this is definitely a good mascara to get. It adds a some oomph to your lashes. I think for me, the brush is way too big to use. If you dont want clumps you have to go a little slow when applying the mascara because a lot of mascara gets on the wand/brush and because the brush itself is big you have to go slow and gently apply. I have a lot of early mornings so sometimes I have to go a little fast when doing my makeup . I didnt notice any flaking through the day and it wears well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Long lasting! This mascara comes in a simple and beautiful bottle, which I love. I also love that when applied, it does last all day without flaking away. That's the most important thing for me in any makeup. I have naturally long lashes that are not very full, so this mascara makes them look wispy rather than thicker. I really don't love that. Over repeated use through a couple weeks, this hasn't improved any. So while it does last a long time, I don't enjoy the look it gives my lashes. Perhaps over time, it would improve, but I wouldn't want to use only this in the meantime. Because of that, this would not be a go to for me.
