Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loose setting powder I use Nars sheer glow in Barcelona and having dry skin, powder with TALC is usually itchy on my skin. This is not the case with this powder and nor does it make my skin get dry,nor suck the life out of it. It blurs pores and and my make up looks perfect whole day. My only request to Nars is bring a shade between Crystal and Shore. Shore is darker on my skin and gives a bronzer look. Adding a banana, peach, pink shade would be amazing

I'm a freelance artist and spent many years working for a competing brand (the one with the ˆ in the name) - and this Nars powder was SO intensely better (not to mention half the price) than the other brands best-selling powder. Whenever I had a client in need of setting powder, I ALWAYS showed the the Nars Light Reflecting powder instead. In fact, I sold the Nars counter out of their stock numerous times and the counter manager had to request addtl stock from corporate. Even on the darkest skin that hesitated to try it found that it IMMEDIATELY disappeared while at the same time giving the skin an unmatched smoothness. I have a small amount of acne scarring from my teen years, and nothing even comes close to both the smoothing, mattifying and staying power this powder has. JUST BUY IT! NO HESITATION!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wish the old version still existed! I absolutely loved the loose powder that NARS had years ago! It was the best powder ever! I am just realizing now that they don't have the same loose powder that they used to have. I cannot comment on how this works because I have not used it. But I am so disappointed to find that the loose powder of the past no longer exists. I suppose I'll have to give the new version a whirl to see if the texture and finish is the same. But I feel like the range of colors is so limited now. I feel like it used to have an extensive range. And the finish was amazing. My clients would look at themselves and every flaw was blurred. I'll report back after I try the current version.

It is too difficult to manage because the packaging is not structured to limit the powder flow in an effective way. There are other powders that cover as well and are packaged to travel and disperse volume better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new MUST HAVE I have tried a lot of very expensive powder foundations and setting powders. This is the BEST I've ever used. The powder is very, very fine....BUT....gives me a soft, natural coverage all by itself. The matte finish is a perfectly soft look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST POWDER EVER! I absolutely LOVE this powder. For years, I struggled finding that perfect powder that could set my under eyes in the way I want. Everything else has let my concealer crease, looked cakey, and/or was too drying. This powder is the exact opposite of that!! It set my concealer so perfectly, I couldn't believe it. Even hours after wear, it still held up beautifully. I can't believe that I finally found a powder that doesn't enhance my fine lines, keeps my concealer in place and looking amazing, is lightweight, and blurs my under eyes too!! I genuinely can't believe it. My only complaint is that it's a tiny bit too pink for my skin tone but I don't even care LOL the rest is all too perfect. Please try this powder if you are thinking about it!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2 Star Review I'm so disappointed that this didn't work for me. It left a white cast on my skin :/ I typically only use setting powder under my eyes and t-zone so I thought it would be fine. Looks super weird. I would consider trying this in a medium shade if I find it because it sat well on the skin, just hated the cast it left.
